Trump will discover (yes a pun) that there are actually limits to being President. Especially one with so much baggage in the trunk.

From the looks of things recently, I do not believe SCOTUS still finds these parts of the Constitution to be valid.

It doesn't matter what the Constitution says or the law says. It only matters what SCOTUS says.

That was true before the Roberts Court. Not anymore.

Why not counter sue trump personally for $50 billion?

Questionable that the Roberts' SCOTUS would agree. Everything is up for grabs with this court.

Unless he is capable of achieving a nadir of stupidity that seems unattainable even for him, trump will never, ever proceed to discovery, and WSJ knows it. The only variable is Murdoch.

Um.. Colbert is a pretty big deal along this same line of thinking.

I think the Supremo Court will have a way to redefine that interpretation unless they just decide to shadow-court their injustice.

It's what Trump does. If you write something that he disagrees with or he finds insulting whether true or not he files a lawsuit for a sum of money not based in reality. He's been successful in making this con work with the entity being sued thinking it's cheaper to settle then pay lawyers.

Given that the Trump Republicans own so much of the federal courts now, what's the point of what the Constitution does or doesn't "forbid?"
