Sen. Graham: "This is viewed by many people in the MAGA movement, conservatives like myself, as an attack on the movement and not just traditional political violence, and I really believe that."

The Graham cracker loves him some war, but evidently not when it involves his dating pool. Sure MAGAts speak of violent retribution, courtesy of Leslie's Orange daddy, but that's just talk. Graham seemingly doesn't date outside the US so he prefers to keep the wars there...

Graham can believe it all he wants, but the GOP believes a lot of stuff that isn't true, so there is that. What he believes is next to meaningless. That's assuming he's a true believer and not just, you know, lying. Also, his movement is literally against the existence of other people, so eff him.

This shooting, and most shootings, are 100% the result of gun culture! People who worship their guns over the reality of the death they cause! It’s gun culture, people who pose in Christmas cards with rifles; gun culture!

So, MAGA is a movement & Graham as a member equates it w/conservative & special while they scapegoat immigrants, black Americans, transgender, etc. for America's problems + take away from less fortunate. A white guy w/a gun killed another white guy sounds like the traditional violence of white men.

"Traditional political violence?" You gotta love Graham. "I mean, this is white right-wing Christian boys shooting white right-wing Christian boys - it's nothing like the down-home stuff where white right-wing Christian boys shoot everybody else. T'aint natural!"

Lady Lindsey: "This is viewed by many people in the Republican Nazi movement, Nazis like myself, as an attack on the Republican Nazi movement and not just traditional political violence, and I really believe that, because Charlie Kirk was a very fine Nazi."

I'd forgotten that Graham is still around, probably the gravest insult. We know that Kirk was killed by someone on the right, not on the left, so shut the fuck up about that. Finally, what the fuck is "traditional" (implied "acceptable") political violence?

Oh FFS What is “traditional political violence”? A water balloon fight? Lindsey needs to step away from the cameras with his hot takes, and go away. He can take Nancy Mace with him. Oh, Tim Scott too. Signed, Resident of SC 🌴

Magats decided that it was a left wing attack the minute it happened and no evidence to the contrary will have any effect whatsoever on that messaging. They know that their base is ignorant and they will never stop exploiting that.

This asshole has never listened to Trump dehumanizing people I suppose. What a horrible man this guy is, no values no ethics just ambition to keep his seat.

More and more “traditional” leaders who pawned their soul to Trump are looking increasingly alarmed that the way things are going, they won’t get it back as they risk reaping the rotten fruits of his policies. And history never forgets!

what the fuck is "just traditional political violence."?!??!? Fuck that, if Graham is dismissing "just traditional political violence" against ordinary people as no big deal, then violence against MAGA pieces of shit shouldn't count for a damn thing.

Who knew Nazism would backfire on itself and they'd start killing themselves? It's not like there's a giant historical example that did enormous damage to Europeans and got millions of them killed, surely there was no precedent and nobody could see it coming.

Charlie Kirk’s death is a self inflicted tragedy, brought on by the rhetoric and actions of Donald J Trump. Not to mention the marriage between the GOP and gun lobbyist, end of story.

It’s not even really political violence. It’s yet another white male from a right wing background that cannot process his emotions in a healthy way; and ends up taking it out on whomever his weird obsession happens to fix on.

Why wasn't Maga blamed for the killings of Melissa Hortman and her husband being murdered in their own home? It's ridiculous to blame an entire party for the actions of one individual. This "revenge" attitude is causing more suffering than help.

By “traditional political violence,” I assume he means lynching?

Never forget that for first 2/3 of the 20th century, access to the ballot box in 1/3 of the United States was controlled by racist death squads. Only AFTER the Civil Rights movement could this country be considered an actual democracy.

"Graham is a very loud, early supporter of Trump's presidential campaign. Only one thing is certain: It's not because he's enthusiastic about Trump's message on foreign policy or immigration. Pedro Gonzalez joins Charlie to discuss how Graham uses flattery to manipulate MAGA for his own ends."

What a spineless weasel. He never answers directly. He found one Tweet that said "LFG" and blames the left for being violent while never breathing a word about Trump's call to violence. I'd call Lindsay the worst, but he's got too much competition.

Note the internal contradiction where he is saying normal things about not resorting to violence while at the same time trying to pin the blame on his political opponents and signal to MAGA that they are under threat. He's despicable.

"Traditional political violence" = Violence that conservatives visit on their enemies. “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” -Wilhoit

When Senator Graham refers to "traditional political violence" does he mean all those 2000 lb bombs he votes to give to Israel? Obviously totally insignificant compared to a meme-addled, right-wing groyper assassin murdering a single garden-variety conservative hate-monger like Charlie Kirk.

I don’t watch interviews with interviews with Graham, his words are worthless and Welker rarely ever offers any push back on these, did she point out that Kirk’s murderer was from a MAGA family??

And Charlie Kirk's legacy was what now?Gun deaths are acceptable to have the 2nd amendment, misogyny, stoning gay people to death, accomplished women are DEI hires, people should work till they die...there is more but it won't fit in the post.

Saying Trump is head of the movement is a huge admission here - saying let’s not do this the way that the Middle East does it is fear - is an attempt to deflect- that the people will rise up and do it the American way - guess what the American way means to him in this mess
