The fight has turned into a culture and identity war and less about policy and critical stances. Got to give it to the republicans who were able to tap into anger and magnify it to unimaginable levels. The Dems just need to recalibrate and unify. As a party we're all over the place.

Yesterday I had a nice converation on Bluesky with someone who voted for Trump. My first impulse was to block him, but I gave him the chance to explain his point of view and I explained mine. We should do this more often.

I donate my time to the one in my small town community because it helps so many people here (regardless of faith, race or orientation) It’s the main food bank in this zero public transit town. It’s most definitely needed here.
