Both Astronomy and Science feeds need you to be registered as whitelisted contributors. Science needs some credentials, astronomy allows amateur enthusiasts.

it's so cool but also part of me really doesn't like looking at that tiny ass dot and thinking "Yep that's the entire planet, everyone and thing you know"

Reminds me of an Asimov's story where the butler disproves a Martian outpost claim by the failure to mention the moon in all their writings. Something like that.
