18/ Let's add this production thread, which I'll update when needed for years to come. bsky.app/profile/did:...

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Thread] I have good news and bad news and good news. 😁 Good: The Expanse team has reformed to create a media company, Expanding Universe. Bad: They haven't announced a sequel to The Expanse. Good: They're adapting James S.A. Corey's new sci-fi trilogy into a TV series for Amazon MGM Studios! 1/7

22/ An off-topic thread, but it's a time capsule of what I've kept (ads, magazines, etc) from my first passion: Nintendo, NES era.

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

Before I was a sci-fi fan, I was a Nintendo fan, during the NES era, between the ages of 8 and 12. Once a geek, forever a geek. 🀟 And I'm very happy to have managed to preserve some of my treasures of that era, like this Club Nintendo poster. 😁

23/ This thread should last a very long time. It's about paying tribute to lots of people, because positivity is what will save the web.

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Ongoing thread] The Shout-out thread A new space where I can pay tribute to lots of people, because, well, it's cool. I'll try to do this daily, but it won't necessarily be true lol

24/ New sci-fi thread! This time, it's pop culture in the alternative universe of For All Mankind (2019).

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Thread] Entertainment & sci-fi in the "For All Mankind" timeline. As we've seen in the nearly five seasons of the AppleTV+ show, the more time passes, the more their reality differs from ours. So let's see what the series teaches us about what we have in common, but also about our differences...

26/ An ongoing thread dedicated to the upcoming adaptation of The Culture:

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Ongoing thread] Consider Phlebas, an upcoming sci-fi show by Amazon MGM Studio Yes, the legendary Culture novel series by Iain M. Banks is (potentially) coming on TV! And they'll obviously start with the first of the nine books, published in 1987. Charles Yu is writing and executive producing.

27/ An Ukrainian sci-fi artists thread:

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Thread] It's a good day to reiterate my support for the brave Ukrainians, so here's a thread highlighting some of the artists from this neighboring country that's been under attack for the past three years. (this is taken from another, longer thread I did on Twitter - RIP - 3 years ago) 1/11

28/ The (mostly space) sci-fi recommendations thread:

The Spaceshipper πŸš€@thespaceshipper.com

[Ongoing thread] The (*space) sci-fi recommendations thread I'm going to gather here all the stories I love, all the ones I recommend above all to those who are curious. It's just my personal opinion, of course, and there are bound to be things you'll like or dislike. πŸ–– (*mostly)
