All Ferengi, all the time. Ferengi federation alternate universe, same mission different values. Ferengi medical drama, Lobes Anatomy. A 10 part Emmy darling on the turbulent times when the Revolutionary Brotherhood of Wealthy Ferengi fought and died for the legal refund.

Approximately 600 episodes of retro Star Trek with sometimes-not-totally-awful A stories plus poorly thought out B stories of questionable taste, transparently nostalgic spin-off series, variety shows, and cash-grab mashups, sandwiched between the absolute worst ideas in popular media of all time.

i want it so that a certain kind of "conservative" people really hate it, particular certain people that claim to be fans. That the Bridge Crew is the modern equivalent of having an Asian Guy, a Black Woman in an unquestioned Command Role and not a Servant, a Russian Guy and an Alien on Top

A crew of giant beefy men (NO WOMEN) travels the galaxy saying mean things about everyone I don’t like. It should look exactly like whichever Star Trek was new when I was 15. If I don’t like an episode they have to personally apologize to me.

For me, interconnecting the shows wouldn't be a requirement, but a bonus. I would entrust each project to acclaimed authors working across different genres and formats. There could be lower-budget (not blockbusters) but intense, more focused movies, like Master and Commander.

As for a series—or rather, an exploration-focused story in the vein of The Motion Picture featuring space battles like those in The Wrath of Khan. I envision an X-Files-style structure: an overarching storyline spanning a single season or the entire series, interspersed with standalone episodes.

Naturally, the story should reflect current events and contemporary issues in some way—such as crumbling international relations, genocides allowed to happen, media manipulation, or societal problems. Cooperation would be at the heart of this series.

Obviously, I already have my list of concept artists ready. 😇 It’s important—specifically regarding visual effects, or rather visual effects direction—that the space battles be filmed the old-fashioned way, as if using miniatures; that is very important.

Honestly, I think I want what many fans have asked for - a Star Trek: Legacy show run by Terry Matalas, working its way around the Picard era Federation and occasionally catching up with Berman-era characters.

It’s a double-edged sword. The majority of sci-fi shows from the last decade exist solely to serve as flagship titles and prestige offerings designed to sell streaming subscriptions. Even the second half of The Expanse. But I also agree. 🤭

Following idea: set in the 28th century or so. Federation got killed, temporal war. All fucked. One huge ship protected by time shields from changes, tries to catch the villians, constantly needs to repairs damages. Time jumps to EVERY incarnation and Star Trek era possible 😍

I’d like it to continue moving forwards and stop getting so caught up on TOS. There’s so much more to the franchise than that period, so let’s move on and start filling in some of the gaps between the other parts.

I worry that we are approaching the unironic space fascist era. I'd like the new era to be new, not set in a familiar era. I'd like multiple shows, each with their own tone, but, set in the same era and able to crossover when it makes things better.

The leave-it-to-books-comics-cons-and-fanfilms era. Because there's a space there for everyone's era of Trek, I have zero faith in the current owners, and getting Trek on TV is like flatulence: if you have to force it, it's probably shit.

#StarTrek: The Far Frontier A new generation after Admiral Burnham, on the edge of Federation space, the Emissary returns with a grand gift: A door ... to galaxies. Scientists, colonists, and Starfleet officers are chosen to explore, settle and guard the way--to whole new galaxies!

I would like there to be at least some high-school level science involved in plot points. How many of us learned something new or were inspired to investigate new disciplines?
