. @Straczynski.bsky.social offers a congratulatory message to #StarTrek actor Walter Koenig as his first (of several) guest-starring episode of #Babylon5 debuts in March 1994. "I think the part will come as a considerable revelation to those familiar with your past roles."

Today we lost Walter Koenig. Some thoughts about a fine actor and genuinely nice guy....

To absent friends. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sur...

“We are driven to make things better. We have that dream to make a better world.” Remembering Walter Koenig, best known for playing Pavel Chekov in Star Trek and Alfred Bester in Babylon 5. His decades-long career left a lasting mark on television and generations of fans. Rest in peace #NOH8

Very sad to lose this old friend and Star Trek icon.

I met Walter Koenig a few times — once on the strike lines. Again at various Star Trek events. He was always so humble, and funny, and engaging with everyone. Even after decades of fandom. May we all live like that. Live long and prosper.

Mourning the passing of Star Trek legend Walter Koenig. He was 90. A couple of years ago, Walter gave us a nice interview for the Roddenberry Archive, directed and edited by Roger Lay, Jr. youtu.be/Z3vzNfxpgZ8

BREAKING — #StarTrek actor Walter Koenig, who portrayed Russian navigator Pavel Chekov, has died at age 90. blog.trekcore.com/2026/10/star...

Aw, damn. What a truly kind man… RIP, Walter. ❤️🖖🏼

News just in, which is incredibly sad for us in the #StarTrek and #Babylon5 communities. As Pavel Chekov and Alfred Bester, he brought two very different characters to life superbly. Brilliant actor and we will remember him fondly. I wish I’d met him!💜😢 #RIPWalterKoenig

A bit of a surprise bit of news from the #DoctorWho universe today. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the short-lived spin-off, “Class”, composer Blair Mowat is rereleasing a special extended version of the soundtrack on digital platforms. Check it out.😀👏 www.instagram.com/p/DezFIEFm1F...

I’m so f**king pissed off about this! I love those games and had been looking forward to the next one.🤬 #RIPBioware #RIPMassEffect

I always loved these lines. Endless horizons. I keep that sentiment close to heart in every project I undertake.

Very sad news, as he was one of those faces you kept seeing in countless TV shows and movies, through the years. I even used to get him confused with Bill Murray’s brother, as they looked similar. He was a really good actor, especially in #StarTrek #RIPRichardRiehle

Someone asked the other day if we think we’ll get a Chekov appearance before #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds ends next year. Let’s get a Ukrainian main character in the next #StarTrek series instead. Not likely to happen anytime soon, but Trek always gives hope for a better future.🖖🇺🇦 #SlavaUkraini

Autism is a spectrum.

That crossover’s definitely not going away anytime soon and there are even more details about what it could’ve been like. It sounds like it would’ve been really enjoyable for a joint fan like me. As usual, corporate greed and politics ruined it all.🙄 #DoctorWho #StarTrek

Watching #Visionquest Episode 1 and @terrymatalas.bsky.social has done it again! Such an enjoyable show already and there are so many familiar faces from #StarTrekPicard , #TwelveMonkeys or just general British TV. Really looking forward to the rest of the show.😁👏

I’ve been waiting to hear more about this, so I’m glad it’s coming to ITV! I don’t normally go for shows like this but, it’s freakin’ Kate and Colm TOGETHER!!! 😁👏🇮🇪 www.geektown.co.uk/2026/10/13/i...

I don’t normally glorify war and suffering, but having read about what Ukraine just did with getting rid of all those bot data centres, it suddenly feels like the battle of Sector 001. Keep firing!😂👏 #SlavaUkraini

@starfleetac panel @NY_Comic_Con this afternoon. Thanks to the audience of 5000 for your huge reaction to our spectacular Season 2 action clip.

Now’s as good a time as any to remind my fellow Trekkies that, while it’s totally alright if you don’t get SFA or modern Trek as a whole, there’s a difference between that and going all out with the trolling like there was before and during Season 1. Don’t do it! #StarTrekStarfleetAcademy #StarTrek
