They charge $200 for this btw if you want all the planes

This is so sad. I had the pleasure of assisting with community management of the Flight Sim community & they are so resilient. They’ve had such a rough journey already, they don’t deserve this.

It’s really upsetting because it shows extreme disregard and lack of care while charging people $200 for the game

why are they so bad at this? once you're in the experience is super fun, but everything around it is so painful.

as someone with professional experience in this area (specifically CDNs), I was honestly quite curious about this over the years. The last big update outage for MS2020 was a clue - their post-mortem hilighted Azure Playfab as one of the issues.

Its been fun watching a raft of YouTubers sitting and discussing a load screen for the past two hours.
