Crockett: When you're at war, you’re not worried about your outfit. If he was walking around in the fanciest suits, I'm sure that they would accuse him of taking our dollars and spending it on his wardrobe

While meeting with the King of Jordan and a visibly uncomfortable Rubio today, Trump now changes his position from yesterday and says the US is not going to buy Gaza, we are just going to take it: “We’re gonna take it, we’re gonna hold it, we’re gonna cherish it.”
OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, on Elon Musk's offer:
SA: "The company is not for sale. Neither is the mission. We are happy to buy Twitter if he wants to talk about that."
Q: "He called you a scammer."
SA: "He calls a lot of people a lot of things. This is not a serious person." ~AA
He's not a "kid." He's an adult, with an important govt job.
The posts weren't "stupid." They were hatefully racist.
His life isn't "ruined." He lost a job.
Holding a govt employee accountable is not a "reward" for a journalist. The reporter doesn't get a cookie.
Unfortunately, Trump has already pursued some of his anti-LGBTQ and anti-immigration campaign promises.

will be even more hilarious when Elon Musk finds out Reform UK can’t replace Nigel Farage as leader because it’s a private company owned by… Nigel Farage 🍿
Musk is just another gullible & ignorant Twitter user...
He's just as easily radicalised by the guff he reads & watches as Johnny 12 numbers
The difference is...
He owns the platform
He owns Trump
And he'll own our politcians here if we don't wake up to this threat.

I keep seeing on LinkedIn people saying how great it is that america will be run 'like a business' by billionaires who have run big companies. But I think they have a major flaw in their thinking. Citizens are more like empoyees of a country, not shareholders.
So having leaders who treat employees badly means they likely wont treat thier citizens well. I want my Goverment to create a good place to work and live, and reinvest profits to make the country better. Not screw down service to maximise profit for those at the top.
Farage claims he has ‘never seen anything like’ the petition millions (of bots) have signed calling for a general election. I’m not saying he is telling great big enormous porkie pies. After all, he could simply have not seen this…
Lots of stories about how mass deportations will spike food prices and cause inflation. But as Tom Bonier noted, only one published before Election Day...
In complete contrast to who his supporters think he is, this is the real trump.... a wimp, who when confronted with someone he is ridiculed, then totally bowes down and plays nice. Because thats what cowards do, they snip from the sidelines until they are confronted.
Biden meets Trump at the White House, in a courtesy Trump never afforded to Biden. A reminder that the only reason the system isn’t a complete mess right now is Trump won and the Democrats are still basically committed to democracy, in a way MAGA (and many Repubs) are not.
