As a non-American it is fascinating to me watching a social media and pundit space obsessed with the divisions in the Democratic Party, but when you actually see people running, they all seem to know what the actual mission is. It’s a good sign.

The divisions are very real and there’s a lot of frustrations with “Allies” but also we know what’s important. Also, honestly, it’s very rare for a defeated left candidate to denounce a winning “moderate.” It’s the other way around that happens more often.

Andrew Cuomo is the most prominent easy example. You're quite right that *most* Democrats are aligned, but it's far from universal. Many, especially older "moderate" Democrats, would clearly prefer fascism to anything even vaguely "socialist." Carville is another.

Neither is representative of the party. Cuomo really isn't a Dem, and Carville is a consultant who wants to hang onto power and influence he no longer has. He's been put out to pasture. He's loud, though. Democrats, moderate, liberal, and left, understand the assignment.
