I hope this little dude never outgrows the part of his personality that says “if you see an open human hand, that’s where your tiny face should go”. He does it literally all the time. If I present my hand to him and he’s not super hyper (even if he is sometimes), he just puts his head there.

Ferrets can be so sweet, but they are burrowers & can be hell on furniture. Had one for awhile but it felt wrong keeping him in captivity. So my husband & I released him in a field across from our home. We were thrilled to see little baby ferrets scampering across the road 6 mos later. We knew /1

Had one in my garage at four in the morning a few years back. Neither of us were happy about so I put a box over her and escorted her outside. Saw her a few weeks later with her new family on my back fence. It worked out well for both of us. lol. Not cute when they’re not happy though.

It's getting towards winter so she's back in her demanding-tucking-in phase where she'll stand on me in bed and stare with her nose inches from mine until I ask if she wants tucking in and entirely cover her with a blanket

We have a room for our little business of 6 too and they’re just so lovely. My best friend refers to the ferret room as “just a box of puppies we can visit and play with at any time” because of how much of a joy the little fuzzballs are

LETS GO (hey hi hello n howdy i miss you too!!) once I figure out my ding dang schedule I will be there so fast. I love all of your pet and armor making updates and they fill me with joy.

Maybe their polecat ancestors but we TRIED to get these guys on a raw prey diet as kits and they were like “fuck no we want only kibble” so we just make do with the high quality stuff supplemented by raw eggs, salmon oil, and freeze dried meat for the ones that’ll take it

quite a surprise that the wonderful weasels prefer simplicity, while here i am cooking for a 220 lb great dane that is the epitome of health and fitness regarding big ass dogs i guess the upside is that he doesn’t try to steal food because we’re eating the same thing

I got bit by a ferret when I was a kid, not keen on them since, I always think they look fluffy and cute, then I remember bleeding all over my mates bedroom carpet and screaming like the 8yr old I was, but I still want to hold one, maybe, someday.
