Quit worrying about what the president says stay on the "economic message". That's what people care about. Dems always get sucked into a battle that is meaningless. Save it for when you're a senator

The idea of him in the US Senate is truly delightful. Hearing him speak lifts me up. He's not a centrist coward. And he DOES have real ideas to make our lives better and he DOES know how to make the case for them. Exactly the kind of candidate we want and exactly the kind we need.

I don’t want to seem shallow on this, but I do think his physique and presentation matters. The right has, for some time, been trying to own “masculinity” and the imagery of that is often fit dudes in tight t shirts who look imposing.

There’s a sort of narrative that these “real men” belong to the right, that liberal guys are (ugh) “cuck soy boys” and similar. That he’s unapologetically left wing while also having pecs and using that imagery/presentation I think helps turn that narrative on its head.

Abdul El-Sayed understands the "point" of USA, and our Constitution, and our history and our traditions so much better than Trump ever could.

Ossoff is another fighter, at least in the way he’s speaking &campaigning. But there are PLENTY of weak milquetoast centrist Dems worthy of disdain, should absolutely be called out, & whom we need to be rid of

Jason Crow called for the impeachment of Hegseth yesterday and is in a position to do something about it. Will he be kicked to the curb? I could go on but you get the point. This centrist-as-the-enemy rhetoric is self-defeating.

YES! As much as I love and respect Michelle Obama, the era of “When they go low, we go high” has long since passed. Politics these days, and frankly has always been, a blood sport. Establishment Dems have for far too long thought it was like the debate team.

Disagree. Call them all out. Many Dems are weak enablers out for their own political advancement. My candidate for congress is still taking about reaching across the aisle… to work w fascists? How does that help us? I’m forced to vote for him knowing he won’t push for change

Waiting to see what punching looks like bcse other than physical contact, Democrats have quite effectively stopped Trump in Congress. You know, where laws get passed. Oh, you mean tough talk. Like Bernie and AOC who have passed what laws? Or Rula’s racist rant? Some of you are falling for this. 🤣

I'm in Michigan and it was a struggle for me trying to watch sports all weekend including the Pistons game tonight. Every commercial was another anti AES attack ad by Mike Rogers. One that really pissed me off was calling AES an unindicted coconspirator in 911?

Yes, It's pure Islamophobia. Mike Rogers will say anything to get elected. My problem is that this is purple Michigan and they are killing us in these non stop ads. Ma and Pa rural dem voters I am worried about.

I dont think it is about centrist or not. Some guys have guts and some are weak. but yea, at the end we need guys like him and put Schumer in the garbage where he belongs

A backbone is what so many Democratic voters want and what so many Democratic politicians fail to comprehend. Of course, showing moral courage is hard to do when you’re paid handsomely not to. It’s why the establishment is so goddamn terrified of the DSA.

I love this. Thank you for sharing. I visit social service orgs in many states. When I leave I don't remember names. I barely remember what they look like. What I do remember is their words, their actions, and their compassion. Word for word. Act and act with compassion.

People also want beer, pizza, carbonated sugar water, FanDuel, crack, fenty, and PornHub. Good for people. Here's what I want: major reform. To accomplish meaningful reform, the weak centrists in congress must be brought along. Pragmatic idealism is the way forward.

I must say I had a brief fantasy involving a schoolyard… I’m sorry, I’m just to that point that I’m so tired after over a decade of it. Longer for me since I’ve detested trump since a kid in the ‘70s in NY.
