Extreme precipitation has long been forecast as climate change continues. The excess moisture is now a feature of our climate. And horrific floods are the result. Climate change doesn’t care whether people “believe” in it or not.

If only there was some sort of federal agency that studied oceans and atmosphere. And cutting funding to such an agency might provide accurate forecasts and because they follow science not sharpies. WaPo quit helping the administration avoid accountability.

I am a claims adjuster for homeowners and I’ve been screaming about climate change for 10 years now. These 100 yr storms hitting every month in different states is global warming in action. The next 5-10 years will be worse this is just the start….

Quite a few are simply blaming the cuts for the death toll. Despite the fact that warnings were given. Even the staff say that it is impossible to be 100% accurate with such events. Cuts don't help to be sure, but in this case the warnings went out anyway.
