10/10 good boy

Cute but not good that the dog is so obedient, that during times of danger, it asked to be controlled Perfect for the state of the US

What a good boy!

Looks like a Pitbull to me. They are smart loving and clownish when they are not abused by HUMANS.

Cough cough … Officer gets 14 days off for smoke inhalation 🤣

Oakley is like “You’re the popo. I need my leash! I’m not breaking the law!” 😂

“Hold up! Can’t go without my leash.” I want to cry. In the Husky version, the cop breaks in the door and the dog bolts out, never to be seen again.

This is so sweet.

Omg

👍😊

What a good boy 😭♥️

The goodest boy

That's a Very Good Boy.

Good boy! And good job by the cop staying calm. He felt that urgent but not scared energy for sure.

That’s wholesome. I approve. 🖖🏼

yeah I think this guy might have earned a pass for the day at least.

Thank God he didn't shoot the dog

God bless this Smart, Sweet Pup!!... Give me fur babies over waaaay too many so-called Humans today!!... 💙🐕💙

Who's a good boy???

Sweet boy! He’s amazing 💙

Aren't animals the best?🐕❤️

One of the few times I’ve seen an interaction between a cop and dog that didn’t end up with the dog dead

Oakley is a 100% GOOD DOG!

Police not smart to enter standing up in a place filled with hot smoke. Stay low.

How lucky we are to have dogs in our lives...❤️

Wow. Good dog. 😥🥲 ❤️

Wow

I'm glad they had enough time to do this. Oakley is a smart dog but he could have passed on this since his house was burning.

Smart and cute puppy dog

He knows you r not supposed to go outside without a leash

We don’t deserve these wise humble creatures that offer only unconditional love.🐶🦴🩷

The officer is so calm and clever 🕶🥰

Wow!

Best boy!

What a good boy.

Awwwwww

He’s a very good boy.

Oakley!!! Such a smart boy!!! Glad he’s ok! 🥹

What?! the sweetest boy in the world!!

Wow. Smart dog.

Thank you to brave officer. Good boy, Oakley.

Oakley has won my heart forever

I am amazed at that dog staying chill with the alarm, because just playing the video made my dogs freak out.

Walkies?

This dog looks brave and awesome.

Give this good boy a medal of honor!!!!!

He deserves an extra T R E A T!

Good dog!!!

Now that’s an indoctrinated dog

All the cookies for sweet sweet Oakley! (And rescuers)

Best thing I've seen today 🐾💕

Save Doggo From Popo (It’s a Facebook group, I just never thought I’d have the opportunity to reference it elsewhere)

Himz goodest boy ever 😍😍

I am proud to say that Weyl all other dogs are the very best dogs, this is the very bestest dog ever ever ever! And I’m so glad they made it through OK! Made me cry.

Oh my 🥺

Kudos to the officer for keeping his head, I’d have grabbed the dog instead of the leash and probably ended up bloody.

A pitty🥰🥰🥰

Good Boy!

🥺

He was cheated! We need a recount. That looks like a 15 to me. This ranks with the goodest of the good boys!

Good boy!

Now that’s one good boy.

A good boy indeed

Love this! Best Buddies for life. 💙

Dogs are so precious.

❤️❤️❤️❤️

Welp, I guess I needed a good cry today. Good boy, Oakley 🥺

Dogs, man

There are protocols, good man. Do I look like a savage? Tsk tsk.🥰

Aww, such a good boy 🥰

What a good boy!

That's so wholesome. That'll do Pig.

A very law-abiding pup!!

No it's not what you think, I've just been chopping onions.

The smoke, the alarm, the cop kicking in the door… and Oakley stays calm and follows the rules through it all!

Bro had priorities 😭

❤️‍🩹🐾

💖👍

God bless the officer who not only went in to save him, but understood the dog was leading him somewhere, and praised him with a “good boy.”

🥰what a good boy

🥺

Aww. I wonder why they didn't go out the door beside the leash, though. What a sweet boy.

Low rating, 20/10.

100/10

😭😭😭

Bet the door was unlocked

Exactly what my Cooper would do!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That makes my heart happy.

Who said it-we don’t deserve them?

Walkies

Dogs are worth more than most people

ok if you save a doggo you get a free pass into the good place.

Love this good boy!!! 🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙

😉

Ok, firefighter.

Lot of folks telling me how smoke works, as if I don't know(, like that cop).

It seems to me that he assessed the situation, as per his professional training, and made the right call to get himself and the dog out of the house as quickly as possible. There were other officers in the house who could've helped if it went south.

There is always one fucking asshole who has to take a feel good moments, and them come in with..."Well they should have did it this way/They did it wrong/.

No, I'm not a firefighter, like that cop.

*Cough cough*

Fire Started in Attic Cop kicked in front door. Asked if anyone was inside. Other Officer came though a side door. First Officer found Oakley. Oakley led Officer to leash. Both Officer and Oakley followed same path back out of the house. Happy Ending. Nothing to critique.

Smart pup.

Awwww

Absolute pure goodness

“The” Oakley? 🤦

Hurry up and wait

It snows here in Finland too, never had any problems getting out 😁 We also have the doors to the sauna open outwards, so you don't get trapped if the heat is too much for you. I seriously thought the inward open door was just for the movies, so that people could kick in doors!

Stop it right now 😭😭😭

OMG I'm sobbing. 16/10

Why didn’t the cop go out to the door in the kitchen instead of walking all the way through the house to the front door?

That’s adorable and the man is a hero… the doggo was doing the right thing… safety first .

❤️

Wow!! Best video of the week here on Bluesky.

Only 14??!!
