Yes early detection saves lives! So many put off colonoscopy! They would give a sample! Save thousands of lives! 10Million x stronger smell than a human! Amazing!

I hope her nose isn't too cold.

Dog's are amazing.

But possibly less bad than if they remained undiagnosed. Maybe someday cancer will be treated as painlessly and easily as it is diagnosed here.

That pun was awful lol. Huzzah for Callie though! 🥰🙌

Tippy tap, tippy tap. Looks over her shoulder. “Did you see? This one!”

I think this is a win-win situation get to pet a dog and diagnosed at the same time. Nurses don't like it when you pet them

Wow

@gothtatertot.bsky.social

Or more precisely, dog scan instead of cat scan.

LOL. deceased!

Callie's tippy-tappies 🤎🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Awe makes me miss my Golden Dolly🤮

getting diagnosed: awe she's all tippy-tappy 🥹 wait.. dang it.

Oh the tippy-taps!

“Some might call it lab work, but Callie is actually a sprocker spaniel.” I see what you did there 😂

Wow!!! That’s amazing!

No lab work no exorbitant fees, and probably more accurate

Just think what they could do if they had opposable thumbs!

14/10 seems a little low. What an amazing dog.

What a sweetheart

Good girl!

I hope the last sample wasn't also positive! Also, this is both adorable and amazing.

We don't deserve dogs.🥹

That’s awesome! Good girl Callie! 🩷🐶

Long live Callie (and everyone who she helps).

omg ... this is soooo much better than cologuard. wait. where exactly am I getting sniffed?

Wow, beats a colonoscopy any time

TIL colon cancer smells like dog ass.

很可愛的小🐶

The bestest of girls!

When people complain about Mandy sniffing their butts, I'm gonna tell them she's checking them for bowel cancer.

20/10 surely?

That’s awesome!

😂lab work 😂

Oh yes please. I'm sending this video to the gastroenterology dept at my network's hospital.

Does she think bowel cancer smell is delicious or just associate it with rewards?

🎶🎶She's a Beauty She's one in a million girls🎶🎶

I knew dogs liked to sniff butts but…

Sure beats the hell out of a colonoscopy!

*Dr. Callie

The tapping

I need to train my dog to do that dance when he has to go out to pee.

"what's in the jars Dwight? What's in the jars?"

Looks good, but won't she just sniff and get excited about all the butts - cancer or not - once this testing is done with people? 😜

Ohhh! Your dog loves me! Wait... he is what?

A little adorable levity with your terrible news.

Fabulous

Can I heart this more than once?

So during my next physical, my doctor would ask me to turn around and have she sniff my butts.

Years of sniffing butts have lead to this moment.

"Some might call it lab work, but Callie is actually a sprocker spaniel." Bada boom. "Thank you ladies and gentlemen, you've been great. Don't forget to tip your waiter..."

Bowel, not butt

For anyone worried this was a real positive test - maybe. But afaik dogs with this kind of training are given something to find every time, using a fake sample if needed. That way they’re always excited to work!

would that breed be good as a diabetic companion dog?

Can I book a visit? Let me get a quick check up and I'll provide substantial treats and pets.

We don’t deserve dogs

This is absolutely incredible 🙌🙌🙌

Dogs are so incredible

15!

Wow!!! Incredible!

Schedule a Callie-nose-scopy today!

wait! This is life saving! shouldn't that be 15/10?

That is amazing👍

Sorry, someone else made a cat scan joke first. I should've scrolled down.

I think Callie's impressive cancer-detecting skills warrant a rating of at least 15/10, because let's be real, she's a dog in a lab and that's just exceptional.

Snort

Good girl

Dogs are incredible…
