If a person doesn’t love libraries already, read Susan Orleans’ THE LIBRARY BOOK about the LA Library. Libraries are about way more than books and should be protected like… Sparta. Don’t disrespect librarians.

This hurts small rural libraries that rely on grant funding to provide essential services. Yes, they are funded by local taxes, but IMLS funding is sent to states to provide things like interlibrary loan delivery. ILL means that a library can offer more materials than what it can purchase.

How far to the right of the decimal point is this in terms of percentage of the federal budget? It's like trying to clear out space on your phone by deleting 2 kilobytes at a time.

My mom loved reading. A book or 2 a week. When she got macular degeneration she could no longer read books. So she called and order audio cassettes from the library. threatens education as well but this president has said over and over, he loves the uneducated and without libraries and museums, even more people in this country will become more ignorant, and not know much about history only what this administration wants them to know

Republicans need to continue dumbing down future generations of voters, to win elections, as their master politician, DJT, has taught them. They will always need more and more ignorant voters, to win elections against the smart ones, who know better.
