I made my weekly standwithminnesota.com donations yesterday and encouraged my friends to do the same.

I remember donating $ to a pastor in Buffalo where a massacre occurred at a supermarket. He was collecting $ to help deliver groceries to those that needed them. We can do the same.

And we aren't hearing anything about what they are doing in New Orleans, Memphis and now some cities in Michigan. So much for Whitmer's appeasement visits. And so much for Dearborn giving Trump their votes.

Los Angeles is broke from this, no one goes to work, kids missing school, it's unsustainable.

Yep, this is not a one-and-done donation situation. A school I'm connected with delivered 100 food boxes last week and now this week the requests have doubled.

I sent cash through the mail before Louis DeJoy, but I'm not sure that works anymore. Are there anonymous donation methods besides cash? Asking for a "friend."

And people need US Politicians who will step in and help! Klobuchar and Smith, US Senators, are A.W.O.L. and only send out platitudes and best wishes! They should be leading the effort to help Minnesotans and just fundraising!

let's not forget mental health care. it's unimaginable, truly. I kept waiting to hear about the woman Pretti helped, and the extreme trauma of witnessing his horrific murder, thinking ICE took her. they didn't, and I could not imagine her plight, her fear, her misery. Good God, give us strength

Corporate America has decided rump isn’t worth it so now the senators can actually do something plus think they’re getting sick of law suit threats. It’s gonna get better but it’s a hot mess everywhere so how fast when they’re still pushing slave labor and running the country is uncertain.

we are in this for the duration — figure out a sustainable channel and cadence for your own contributions — not everyone needs to be on the front lines — but engagement has got to be a way of life if we are to prevail.

Actually it seems to be an indicator that it’s not change very much.
