Yesterday I started out compiling lore in Obsidian. Then I got distracted, and ended up using @11ty.dev to build a whole website. So now Synist has a (SFW) wiki called The Synistverse. And it's only going to get bigger as I go. synistverse.com

I am setting a project to use your cem-generator inside an @11ty.dev site to generate documentation. I hope I can give you a more informed feedback about this soon :)

I made a tool for migrating Tumblr blogs to @11ty.dev static sites, since one didn't seem to exist! It retrieves all your posts with all attached metadata, using a Tumblr blog export ZIP and the Tumblr API, and saves them in a new directory structure with Eleventy's data format.

Yes you can use comicfury but you NEED to have your own website to keep a backup just in case. You should be in control of your comic. Here is rarebit, a basic webcomic template: rarebit.neocities.org If you're confident with 11ty, here's rarebit if it were better: github.com/katedee/elev...

Finished my implementation πŸ₯³ Syntax highlighting (& line numbers + copy button) via MicroLighter from @davatron5000.bsky.social and inspiration for the torn tab from @tylersticka.com website. An 11ty transform to process any code blocks & add the lil washi tape thing - So my markdown stays clean ☺️

This syntax highlighter by @davatron5000.bsky.social is incredibly nice and I've implemented it already on my site. It even comes with a nice lil web component so you can get line-numbers and a copy button real easy (Not sure which option I will go for yet tho) davatron5000.github.io/microlighter/

TIL Eleventy offers a way to dynamically save image files hosted elsewhere as local files during builds, so visitors to my statically generated portfolio site don't have to load images from many sources, they'll all be served locally. All using a shortcode. That's dope

Perf win: blog.fontawesome.com had an animated GIF poster image published recently (for an Aug 4 blog post). Changing the @11ty.dev Image plugin formats from "avif, auto" to "avif, webp, auto" added an animated WebP to the <picture> stack and saved 439kB of transfer weight! (nothing else changed) πŸ†οΈ
