I don’t think BioWare was long dead. I enjoyed Veilguard and Andromeda. And I played the leaked 0.5 Veilguard. What they made out of this… dumb was impressive. I will miss Dragon Age as a universe.

I think the way how we get there and the opponents are the issue here. Liadrin, priest first, paladin second - died exactly how she wanted. Saving her people and maybe helping healing old wounds. She only had to sacrificed herself. That was amazing! But

Honestly I think half of the issue is presentation. Arator got this cinematic where he unleashes the Light, and his armor has been burning the *entire* expansion. Liadrin becomes a living conduit for the Light, and there's not a sear on her or her armor, she just... looks tired.

the enemy is a Wotlk reskin, Salendria ignored, the way until than was filled with out of place stuff like Haradar and Arator’s journey. I like the later but it still felt out of place. The aqir attack is kinda a lore joke …
