Weak! Using a “business proposal” to trick someone when the supposed sender is job hunting is particularly insidious

@moryan.bsky.social I’m reading Burn It Down and I just got to the part where you said you liked Killjoys and I got so excited, I thought I would reach out. I looooved Killjoys (the ending could have been stronger, but overall there’s a lot to love there) and found it massively underrated

Sorry, I'm still being annoying about this. Raising $40 would allow me to get some groceries before food bank day and have a small buffer in my account to avoid overdrafts in the future. Thank you, and I am really sorry to ask

His campaign slogan is “Solidarity Forever”? I’m all in!

Senator Collins should’ve asked Navatek to run these ads for her. They know where to send the money. And they know who’s going to deliver for them.

Tonight’s feature: The Rocky Horror Picture Show There was a wonderful shadow cast. Totally sold out! One of the virgins was 80 years old, and my friend brought her teenager, so it was fun for all ages, lol

Was looking at the hashtag for pet rats and I found these little darlings! I hope they had (have? It was more than a year ago) wonderful lives!

Are my rescues Harriet & Walter mice or rats?

This reminds me of a story told by a children’s author: he sent a picture to a young fan and the boy’s parents reported back that he ate it. “He loved it so much, he ate it.” I think it was Shel Silverstein or Maurice Sendak

For those of you who paint - how do you go about selling you're paintings? etsy? How do you deal with shipping? I'd like to start selling some of my paintings. Thx

I read this too fast and thought it said “hobo heritage month” and I was like “what does that have to do with the unhoused?”

Usually the implication is that the victims are being bitten to death, but to me it just looks like the rats are having a grand old time. We watched The Suicide Squad the other day and I love those trained Hollywood rats.

Tonight’s feature was Supergirl and it was…not very good! One too many James Gunn needle drops for my taste. I’m all for female-centric superhero films that aren’t Oscar winners. And I thought Milly was charming; let’s see what else she can do with the character (given the chance)

I’m watching a Kristoffer Borgli movie so I decided to read his Wikipedia page. Turns out he’s a creep. Then we got to the part where Nic Cage almost sleeps with a 20 year old. Fuck everything.

I ordered a grab bag of scrunchies from Etsy. One of them is Harry Potter themed and I’m wondering if they were having a hard time selling them. Do you think Etsy shoppers are excited about HP and likely to buy it, or do you think people using Etsy are likely to boycott?

Now, I’ll continue to use it because no one will be able to see it while it’s on my hair, so it doesn’t prop up JKR’s transphobia. On the flip side, Five Below has a really cute t-shirt that I am going to resist buying so that I’m not part of the problem.

Maybe I don’t get it and I’m being terribly naive, but in my quick searching, I found “dushi” means “sweet.” Can someone help me?

Had to explain to my 6-year-old daughter today that a good name for a sushi restaurant would not be “Sushi Dushi”
