When I was 10, I was 20 years away from the age you buy a house. When I was 20, I was 15 years away. When I was 30, I was *consults graph* ...also 15 years away. Cool. Cool cool cool.

Richard Nixon was never arrested for his crimes, but his Attorney General John Mitchell was—for helping Nixon cover them up. Have fun with the next administration, Todd Blanche!

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

So he's gonna advocate for all people with depression to get four months off for rehabilitation, right? And he's gonna tell RFK jr to fuck off with his quest to limit the medication that Kean is very clearly taking to be functional?

Rep. Tom Kean finally speaks after months away from Congress for a previously unexplained absence: "I was given the diagnosis of depression ... the doctors recommended I remain in the hospital to address my illness"

Also, it was extremely funny to me that the podcast that constantly warns me when a siren noise is coming in case I'm driving had an actual siren noise in it which legitimately made me look around for an ambulance while driving.

Feds are out in Minneapolis and St Paul this morning, arresting observers and people who protested Metro Surge. There are maybe 5-6 that I know of so far, that’s 5-6 too many. We knew this could happen. Check in with your people and secure your devices.

The deal is a major breakthrough in the conflict that set the Middle East aflame and shook the global economy. However, it did not resolve critical issues set aside for further negotiations. n.pr/4uFN8QW

That took about as long as expected. Maybe a bit longer, even.

Slight chance Mamdani was individually responsible for a fifth of the cities murders and is now too busy to maintain that pace

OpenAI's Agent Builder is effectively abandonware. AWS AI caused a 13-hour interruption. People ship way more hacks than rethink systems properly. Nobody seems to be using AI well enough to get a serious competitive advantage "Everything is broken" — @github.com

I find it moving that Lynch's legacy in the queer community is now forever tied to the phrase "fix your hearts or die". It has become a rallying cry. It is bigger than him. It is bigger than Twin Peaks. It is beautiful.

Mr. Pibb was renamed “Pibb Xtra” in the summer of 2001. They have just renamed it back. I don’t want to draw any direct inferences about things that may have gone wrong in our country and the world when Mr. Pibb went off track in 2001…but maybe this renaming will set things back!

Is it just me, or are the kids these days getting older? Back in the day, I feel like you'd see some kids and they'd like 5. Or maybe 6. These days there'll be bunch of kids and they'll be like, 8? 9 years old? What the fuck is going on??
