I was diagnosed with Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at 17 and prescribed birth control to treat it. A decade and some years later I now take Testosterone to treat my gender dysphoria and in turn it actually treats my PCOS too cuz now I don’t menstruate. I still get cysts tho ugh

This beaver was orphaned and rescued as a newborn. See the incredible instinct to build a dam, even though no parent has ever passed this information to it. [📹 hmuraco] Original post

The very cool calendar I bought from @sarahmackattack.bsky.social has fun facts every month and the fun fact for my birth month (February) is about how in the animal kingdom there aren’t strict gender and sexual binaries. It makes this nonbinary person’s heart sing with joy. Happy birthday to me

New post by me on #MITPressReader @mitpress.bsky.social On the 100th anniversary of the #ScopesMonkeyTrial the ways we depict #evolution can still give an erroneous progressive view (that evolution leads to humans or ‘increased complexity’). thereader.mitpress.mit.edu/is-our-pictu...

I have to say hands down Atlanta (ATL). I’ve traveled to many airports and whenever I have a layover in ATL I breathe a sigh of relief cuz I know the transfer will be easy to navigate. Great signage, quick transportation between terminals, many shopping and food options, and helpful workers!
Actually, you know what? Let’s stop complaining for a second. QT this with a GOOD airport. Defend that title as much or as little as you like. But let’s hear about airports that don’t suck.
