Economic security for domestic manufacturers who refuse to build the economic EVs the rest of the world is buying in droves. National security against the Chinese while domestic law enforcement buys all the tracking data your phone and car are collecting without a warrant. Miss me with all of this
Keeping Chinese-connected vehicles out of the United States is an issue of both economic security and national security. Read my interview with @roadandtrack.bsky.social www.roadandtrack.com/news/a710536...

My grandmother had the following routine: 1. Fry some chicken in the morning 2. Place chicken on hotplate to keep warm all day 3. Serve to whomever visited 4. If no one ate the chicken that day, place in fridge 5. Next morning, chicken back on the hotplate 6. Repeat steps 4-6 until chicken is eaten.
One time I ate a burger that sat out for 8 hours. Those mayonnaise rules are RIGID

I continue to be amazed at how Mississippi’s governor, hard as he tries to be “plugged in,” continually faceplants with the issues he promotes. A history of education legislation missteps going back to his lt. gov. days. Celebrating data centers HARD days before even MAGS says “no thanks.”
NEW: lawmakers in new york rolled out a proposed data center moratorium bill today, making NY at least the sixth state to introduce legislation pausing data center development in the past few *weeks*:
Towering over them all is Tiny Tim and he is naked dancing, his small feet lively and quick and now in doubletime and bowing to the ladies, huge and pale and hairless, like an enormous infant. He never sleeps, he says. He says he’ll never die.
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, his body surrendered to the sand in a slow, irreversible negotiation with eternity. Where a boy had been, a vast segmented body took shape, ring after ring locking into immortality.
I wonder if Andre de Gruy gets tired of giving the same interview every year for a decade…
Dozens locked in Hinds County’s jails without an indictment — some for over a year At least 60 people arrested in Hinds County have been jailed in its detention facilities for over three months — including at least five for more than a year.

As a Christian, I've always felt Christians tend to hunt carefully for things to feel persecuted about, because the Bible tells us we WILL be persecuted if we're doing it right, and none of us are being persecuted, so..... scary thought.
No. Christians feel persecuted because there is a vast media apparatus telling them that they are persecuted. There is no evidence whatsoever of large-scale discrimination against Christians in this country.

I wonder how much online conspiracy/qanon/unhinged bullshit is a result of men reading fewer and fewer books every year. Used to be these people would be stuck in an 800 page Tom Clancy novel, not bothering anyone. But now they don’t even do that anymore. They’re online talking to each other.

Crockett: "Down in Alabama, who's broke. Down in Louisiana, who's broke. I can go through pretty much the entire south and tell you that they're broke and rely on a lot of welfare from the government. To be perfectly honest, it is tax dollars from these big blue states...we're in the find out phase"
One thing I never see mentioned in this debate is that existing private schools are NOT going to swing the doors open and welcome hundreds of new students. The rejection rate will be enormous. We're going to create a few thousand education nomads. mississippitoday.org/2025/02/09/p...

Maybe what this country needs is some sort of line of demarcation, so maybe states on one side of the line can bounty hunt immigrants and those on the other side can opt out. I will do a quick search and see if there’s any precedent for this.
Mississippi is about to unleash bounty hunters on migrants. Surely this will end well. MS HB 1484 billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/documents/20...
