Max Miller is complaining about retirees who have paid into Social Security their entire lives. It’s not an “entitlement.” You paid for it. It’s your money.
How is it not news when the president nods off in public meetings and press conferences dozens of times? If you follow independent media, you see it and know about it. But why hasn’t CBS, NBC or ABC showed a montage of it on their evening news? They simply refuse to ever show it.
So with no due respect, absolutely nobody needs to accept that status "for the greater good." We know where that leads.
Shut this shit down.
Human rights are for EVERYONE.
The Star Spangled Banner being played by the Mariachi Herencia de Mexico band before the Bears-Eagles game in Chicago on Monday Night Football was a deeply cool thing to see tonight
Russia is bombing museums, apartment buildings, hospitals, research facilities, schools, and parks. Ukraine is bombing military targets and refineries. Guess which one Trump has been complaining about?
Putin’s reward for bombing hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, public parks and museums and killing children is to get invited to the G20 Summit by Marco Rubio.
Mamdani: "To have a potential governor who embraces ICE and has gone so far as to create effectively a private militia in Nassau County, that is in many ways the antithesis of what people hope for is the future of the state, and yet that is exactly what Blakeman is offering."
A whistleblower claims that if there are any threats to Trump in Ireland, the backup plan is to dress him up like a leprechaun and stick him on an Aer Lingus flight.
The Trump White House has a plan to deal with the Houthis capturing more Red Sea coast, increasing their threat to shipping, thereby further squeezing the global energy supply: Lie about it.
This is marginally better than dropping a bunch of bombs, achieving less than nothing, then lying about it.
Trump: "The Houthis called us. They don't want to fight with us. They let us know they don't want to fight with us. They don't want us to go after them. They would much prefer not having us involved, and they are letting most ships go through. There's just one country they're not too happy with."
A missile just crashed into the building I was sleeping in. Built up residential complex intentionally attacked in Odesa. The building is still on fire. Barbaric terrorism.
It’s adorable that he’s still running this con. According to the Treasury Department, after court-ordered refunds, the US has kept $210 billion from tariff collections. Reality remains stubbornly unimpressed with Trump’s fake numbers.

Tim Scott: "Think about how dangerous states like California [are] that want to take away your kids if you don't agree w/pronouns the schools chooses for your kids. They're coming for our culture. If you don't want to stand up & fight for the soul of this country, your wood is wet. It's that simple"
I’m a little sad that Mitch McConnell didn’t live long enough to watch Rafael Cruz get booed mercilessly ahead of the Texas vs. Ohio State football game.
A pastor for Michael Whatley, the North Carolina GOP Senate nominee, opened with a prayer asking God to bestow "integrity and honesty." It was delivered by Pastor Daimon King, a registered sex offender twice imprisoned for convictions involving children.

The people running these companies believe that climate change could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a fringe worry. Publicly, many executives soften their language to sound reasonable, but privately, the fear is real. No other industry poses this level of danger to civilization.
Do not underestimate the scale of this climate crisis. We are watching feedback loops accelerate, ice sheet collapse, ocean heat content, methane release, that could lock in irreversible warming. We have all witnessed the data, and it is not slowing down.
I resigned from ExxonMobil today. I spent the last three years doing fossil fuel extraction research at both BP and ExxonMobil. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing to maximize extraction while the window to act closes, and gambling with our lives. More below.
Looks like a certain petulant brat got his saggy ass handed to him by a strong woman. You know how much he must have delighted in that. Thank you, President Connolly!
Most American have zero interest in the US government treating one of our most important historical allies and trading partners like this. But the worst among us is running the country, thanks to the worst and most irresponsible voters among us.
