How AIPAC and ADL can ever support Republicans shows that their leadership is in a bubble of their own making. Fox is the propaganda arm of the Republican party.
Welker: "Is the president siding with Russia?"
Bessent: "No, that's a false binary."
Welker: "Is Ukraine an ally of the U.S.?"
Bessent: *doesn't answer*
Welker: "Does the U.S. see Ukraine as an ally?"
Bessent: "I am not the Secretary of State. I am not the president."
At times like this I like to remind people that Schumer went straight from Harvard undergrad to Harvard law to government, where he's been since 1975. He hasn't talked to a normal person since high school
Whether it’s Barack Obama putting Dijon mustard on a hamburger or Donald Trump bringing millions of Ukrainians to the brink of starvation, both men have made unorthodox food choices.
And the NYT is so proud of its both-sidesing the article is leading the website. Readers are offended, as well they should be. Most recommended comment:
Well now we know why DCA is going to be closed for 15 hours on July 3rd and 4th. What a nightmare, and spectacular misuse of the public purse.

Q: What goals do you have for '26 in Congress for your agenda?
TRUMP: I have great executive orders. Like, water coming out of a sink. The water wouldn't come out. They had all sorts of restrictions. I took them off. Straws. They don't have to be paper anymore. I'd like to have all that confirmed.
the current position of the executive branch appears to be headed towards pardoning the world's most famous living child sex trafficker and looking directly into the camera to say "what the fuck are you gonna do about it?"
New in PN: The worst chief justice of all time
"American history has no shortage of legendarily bad chief justices and disgraceful decisions. But John Roberts has overseen the wholesale corruption and capture of the Supreme Court, and history should look back on his tenure with revulsion."
So the Times didn’t even cover the “Shylocks” thing at all? Like it’s not only not on the front page, it doesn’t appear to be in the paper anywhere, unless I’m missing something?? Truly a stunning choice. I don’t get it.
Congressional Republicans have talked themselves into a plan so incomprehensibly reckless that to describe it is to question its authors’ sanity."

Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far:
A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.
Dems, this isn't that hard. Trump is (1) incompetent and (2) only about enriching himself and his cronies. Anything coming out of his mouth is an attempt to distract from (1) and (2). Repeat as needed.
As I watch mostly blue collar workers spending much of their paychecks on lottery tickets in hopes of becoming economically successful despite statistical logic, it is in that same vane they voted for Trump who promised them wealth without any substance backing that promise.
