The justices should know and uphold the Constitution. The Republican majority instead uses case decisions to essentially legislate. Meanwhile, nearly all the Republicans in Congress have ceded their authority to the President.

The Roberts Court is a shameless return to the Lochner era, and it is a court that openly invites corruption, conflict of interest, and bribery. It harbors no illusions that it is anything other than the judicial arm of an elite special interest.

The last 9 to 10 years has produced a long list of traitors to America, both in public and private offices around the country. The real task here is to record the truth and make sure history reflects how damaging these people were to America, before trump has the history destroyed.

Roberts might not be the worst individual but his tenure will be defined as the worst in history. By any measure some monumentally misguided and blatantly political decisions. While Roberts claims to only be calling balls & strikes they're taking swings & misses. A full-on unabashed activist court.

A Sup.Court Justice can be impeached. The Constitution specifies that Justices hold their office "during good behaviour," meaning they can only be removed through impeachment. The House of Reps can impeach a Justice, & the Senate then holds a trial to determine whether to convict & remove from office.

Only if we secure our elections on the state level...REALLY secure them, i.e. hand-counted paper ballots and risk-limiting audits, followed by full hand counts and forensic audits, if and when needed. This must become routine and universal.

If you want to hear about how corrupt the Supreme Court is you can just listen to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse ranting endlessly about it. The same dude was on the Senate Judiciary committee, when Biden was President and Schumer was majority leader, and they did exactly jack shit about corruption.

Thomas and Alito should be enshrined as a cautionary tale of despicable lifetime appointments dripping with greed and corruption as well. Roberts cleared the path for others but these two @$$holes are the real enemies of the state.

So, essentially, he set the house on fire. Waited for it to burn to the ground w everyone inside, then decided to call the firefighters. What a fantastically foul example of how dangerous willful stupidity is.

The Supreme Court does not have an official code of ethics, unlike lower courts. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that what became known as the Court-packing plan was designed to change the balance on the Court. Just start out with the Supreme Court needs report to Congress.

I’ve wondered which of Trump’s handlers told him, “Don’t worry. Under our scheme you’ll get elected and be untouchable. You could even ‘shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose’ supporters.” Heritage? Federalist? Koch? Putin?

Raised like some 1950s mobster, he's really more of an unchecked stochastic terrorist. "There's a guy on Fifth Avenue. He's a very bad guy - a dirty guy - and people are saying disgusting things about him. If 'something' happened to him, I think that everyone would sleep a lot better..."

Under his watch it has become the REPUGNANT PARTY SUPREME COUP. It's mission was to interpret laws to adhere to the Constitution but the Repugnant Nazi Party has taken over his court & it has reversed Roe v. Wade as established law & now the 14th Amendment. He should read the Fucking Constitution.

While I understand that he's the Chief Justice and decisions under his tenure reflect on that, there are 2 things I don't understand... 1 It's a 6-3 court with 3 being Trump picks and the remaining 2 being Scalia and Thomas. 2 Does CJ have special powers over SCOTUS? What makes him the worst?

John Roberts & HIS anti-american Court will be remembered for being the most corrupt SCOTUS the country has ever seen. The record will show how He & HIS court aided & abetted a malignant narcissist in the destruction of the United States of America & the world's premier democracy!

If Roberts had been Chief Justice in 1954 when Brown v Board of Education was before the court, SOTUS would probably have concluded that "separate but equal" seems perfectly fine from a legal standpoint because, hey, it has the word "equal" in there.

Supreme Court hahaha hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha the Supreme Court hahaha Hahaha Hahaha Hahaha those bunch of trump butt licking traitors? I hear by declare the Supreme Court to be null and void. They have no honor. They've abandoned all Americans and support only trump. Resist ✊️

The ruling from US District Judge Joseph Laplante is significant because the Supreme Court last month curbed the power of lower court judges to issue nationwide injunctions, while keeping intact the ability of plaintiffs to seek a widespread block of the order through class action lawsuits...

I've felt so lucky to live in the time period I was born into, until recently. I mourn what we've lost, and lost for absolutely no reason but stupidity and greed. It was the best of times It was the worst of times

It is the confluence of all of this that makes the future bleak as hell. The worst of the worst are giving a green light to the worst of the people in this country to let their hate and intolerance out behind closed doors. Should we find our way out of the political mess, will the hate go away?

I used to think he had enough integrity to resist political pressure, especially of the Trump type. I mean if anyone can stand up to the president it’s gotta be another powerful guy who can’t be fired. But nope. He’s become a complete and utter disgrace. History will not be kind.

SCOTUS is even more corrupt as they follow Trump's lead—heck, they've now codified the corruption! This unique graph changed how I see everything 👀 bsky.app/profile/that...

That's the Fact, Jack!@thatsthefactjack.bsky.social

💡 I had an epiphany!! Corruption in America isn’t a glitch—it's the system now. Trump’s second term didn’t just continue the rot. It codified it. This article opened my eyes to what's actually happening and why it’s worse now than ever. 👇 It was a unique graph that changed how I see everything 👀

"Organizations like Represent.Us, Campaign Legal Center, and the Brennan Center for Justice continue to fight in courts, legislatures, and public forums to protect democracy from wholesale capture. But that fight needs reinforcements." 18/

"Reform efforts are underway at the state and local levels. Voters in places like Michigan and Arizona have passed ballot initiatives banning dark money and gerrymandering. Ranked-choice voting is gaining traction. States are enacting anti-corruption laws that Congress refuses to consider." 17/

"But this version of corruption is happening in broad daylight. It’s been televised, memed, and livestreamed — and still allowed to metastasize. What Now? The federal system has largely failed to police itself. But that doesn’t mean the public is powerless." 16/

"The result is a system where - Billionaires fund and staff federal agencies. - Special interests shape the very laws meant to regulate them. - The presidency is increasingly transactional: loyalty and money in, policy and pardons out. We were once told democracy dies in darkness." 15/

"What makes this moment different is that corruption isn’t happening in the shadows. It has been proudly proclaimed. Trump ran on it. Project 2025 operationalized it. And the political machinery — from Congress to the courts — ratified it." 14/

"In plain terms - Wealth now determines not just influence, but access. - Policy no longer drifts toward the rich. It is pre-written by them. - The average voter has been procedurally removed from policymaking." 13/

"Under Trump (2025) Citizens’ influence is flat and reduced to minimal. Elites and lobbyists have dramatically more sway — policy responsiveness is almost entirely skewed toward wealth and industry. Note: Republicans control all branches of government and push through their agendas at will." 12/

"Under Biden (2021–2024) Citizens had modest influence (slight upward slope). Elites and interest groups still held greater power, but the gap was narrower. Note: Republicans controlled the House of Representatives from 2023–2024." 11/

"...on money in politics. At least two justices that we know of "accepted lavish gifts and travel from a billionaire with cases before the court. No consequences followed." "So what does corruption look like now? In truth, the 2015 graph has only deepened." 9/

"...thousands of federal positions, and reorienting agencies to serve ideological and corporate goals. Even the Supreme Court, with its newly emboldened far-right supermajority, has played its part: weakening anti-corruption statutes, greenlighting gerrymanders, and all but ending limits..." 8/

"And this isn’t just about Trump. Project 2025 — the sprawling Heritage Foundation-backed blueprint to remake the federal government — laid the groundwork for enshrining this corruption. It called for dismantling civil service protections, giving the president direct control over..." 7/

"Trump’s second term didn’t just perpetuate legal corruption — it engineered it into the framework of government. It’s not hidden anymore. It’s policy by design." - Federal oversight? Gutted - Leadership? Captured - Lobbyists? Elevated - Campaign finance? Completely Broken - Accountability? Erased6/

"Watchdogs like Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) documented thousands of conflicts of interest. Congress did nothing. Fast forward to 2025, and we’re in a different political universe." 5/

"That was 2015. Back then, corruption was legal — but not yet fully structural. In his first term, 2017–2021, Donald Trump refused to divest from his businesses. His hotels and golf courses doubled as pay-to-play venues for foreign diplomats and domestic lobbyists alike." 4/

"It reveals that no matter how much public support exists, the odds of passing a policy barely budge. Meanwhile, the preferences of economic elites track much closer with actual policy outcomes. It’s not just a broken system. It’s an elite-controlled one." 3/

"Whether 10% or 90% of the public supported a given policy, the likelihood of it becoming law hovered around 30%. To understand this visually, here’s a graph based on the Gilens and Page’s study: 2/

"Based on a 2014 Princeton study by political scientists Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page, the video introduced a simple but disturbing graph: across 20 years of policy decisions, support among average Americans had virtually no influence on whether Congress enacted a law." 1/

I really don't care about Biden, he is pretty much a centrist himself. I think the Dems didn't think that DJT would so brazenly break norms and the rule of law, and their 'benefit of the doubt' attitude is used against them by the CONservatives. I know that their base would love to destroy the Dems.

Trump didn’t just continue the corruption—he codified it! This unique graph changed how I see everything 👀 bsky.app/profile/that...

Roberts and his dopey wife think they are above the law. They are betting we never get back to a functional govt., and that their anti democratic rulings will never be condemned for how truly disgusting they are.

The only thing worse than corrupt scumbags like Roberts and Alito are when they try to conceal it by hiding behind their wives. And that reminds me... what rock is Ginni Thomas festering under these days?

They all think they’re our royalty and live their lives accordingly. The peasants do NOT get to have a say in their world. We are beneath them, in their greedy, ego driven minds.

We do look at The Roberts court as a legislate from the bench court. Something the repubs always complained about democrats trying to do. We as a country are repulsed and disgusted by this SC. Especially Alito & Thomas showing their politics in every decision.

McConnell bears a lot of the blame for blocking Obama's nominees because it was "too close to end of term". In other words, he rewrote the rules and got away with it, like the sociopath he is.

McConnell & Senate Republicans refused to even hold a Hearing for Obama’s SC nominee in March 2016 Because it was “During an Election year.” A LIE October 2020 - while folks were voting “During an Election year”, McConnell & Republicans confirmed Amy Barrett a week before the Election. Corrupt GOP

Well, lucky for all the White Supremacists, they took back their idea of government just before the USA could celebrate a quarter millenium of freedom. Say goodbye to a great celebration, say hello to Orwell's 1984 & Animal Farm.

It's easy to spot his problem. He has the perpetual GOP frown that says I know that what I'm doing is wrong, but I'm going to do it anyway because I sold my soul and lost my smile and all things good.

I detest this man. He sat through tRump's impeachment hearings with his thumb up his ass. Another holier-than-thou bastards on the court of our land, intrusted to protect our freedoms and lives. He doesn't care. He's a bigot, supporting a coup of the every man's freedoms. WHO'S GOING TO SAVE US?

"The nation has faced...[a] Court aligned with bigotry and big business. But...not previously faced a conservative Court aligned with helping the president become a king. The Roberts Court will go down in history as an exceptional Court, though probably not quite in the way [he] expects."

He should be removed from the bench. So should Thomas and Alito. There should be no such thing as a life time appointment if that appointment permits ongoing criminal activity against the people and government they were appointed to SERVE.( a key word here folks)..they work for us, we should remove.

Giving carte blanche to any President, especially the present one, is the biggest affront to the Constitution and the people of this country. “Liberty can have nothing to fear from the judiciary alone, but would have everything to fear from its union with either of the other departments.” Jefferson

He really is a repellent human being. Any chief justice who tolerates the kind of corruption that just Thomas doesn't even hide... is human excrement. How do you spend your life getting the education/experience to be on SCOTUS but then decide to be a toe-licking lap dog for Kim Jong Orange?

"Citizens United, Dobbs, Chevron, voting rights, immunity for the king and dozens more rulings are all attributable to the Leonard Leo Supreme Court that has bulldozed its way through the US Constitution and 250 years of American law." We remain shattered by these vile decisions.

The oath says: "defend the Constitution" the issue is: "enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC". Is violation: "Dereliction of Duty"? So how does a military having taken that oath decide what to do? I can form my own opinion but I am not the General on the spot.

Chief Justice John Roberts is a traitor to our country, the people he is supposed to protect and represent, and a traitor to the constitution! Indeed, the most evil of all justices, except maybe Clarence Thomas. Trump bought and paid for Robert’s loyalty.

The next President should look into this corruption and do something about it. I mean the President can do what they like right?? Right?

It's beyond demoralizing that we have had multiple stories detailing the sugar daddy relationships between Harlan Crow/Clarence Thomas and Paul Singer/Samuel Alito. The most blatant forms of corruption imaginable, all laid out in thorough articles, and IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!

Absolutely. Mitch McConnell is an evil man. Sly and cunning, but evil to his core. He saved trump from two impeachment convictions and flooded the federal court system with extremely conservative judges over several decades as Senate majority leader. No respect for Moscow Mitch.

When have Conservatives EVER enhanced democracy? Creators of P 2025 & Roberts are happy w his endeavors to destroy democracy. We need to stop pretending Republican destruction is something new. If you voted Republican after McConnell stole a seat from Obama, don't pretend you love democracy.

They've stepped up the assault. WHITE PEOPLE, YOU LET IT GO TOO FAR. THIS IS ON YOU. ALL YOU. 👍👍 two thumbs up. We'll done. YOU ARE ALL NEANDERTHALS😡 The suffering of those being persecuted is on your hands. THEIR CHILDRENS SUFFERING IS ON YOUR HANDS HIJOS DE PUTAS, COBARDES DE MIERDA COWARDS.

White #USA isfull of cowards who'd rather watch a madman destroy innocent people than shed blood to help✅️✅️ Looks like #Auschwitz 2.0 to me🤔✅️✅️ looks like the 4th Reich has risen✅️✅️ AND FUCKING WHITE PEOPLE STILL HIDING ✅️✅️ HIJOS DE PUTAS, COBARDES✅️✅️ we told u, u WILL have to bleed for this

If you think it was only white people who voted tRUmp and MAGA Republicans in, you have not been paying attention. Many blacks, latinos and even native Americans also voted fot him/them. And division and divisiveness is exactly what will keep tRUmp and MAGA scum in power.
