The BC Prosperity Project said they think Kerry-Lynne Findlay would support BC’s secession from Canada based on conversations with her. This news comes shortly after Alberta Prosperity Project (separatist) leader Jeff Rath praised the new BC Conservative leader.

Here in BC, Eby and his team will do everything we can to fight back against this unfair attack by Trump and make sure that the people who work in forestry, who have given so much to our province, are supported.

What’s happening in Gaza is profoundly heartbreaking. It is unconscionable to deny aid to starving families. I thank @MarkJCarney for adding our voice to the international call for a two-state solution. We support Canada’s efforts to get aid flowing and a lasting peace.

This week we are celebrating everything that makes our country the place we love to call home. Canada is great – not because we are perfect, but because we always want to do better. We are strong, proud, free – and we are going to keep it that way. Have a happy Canada Day week 🇨🇦

We’re independent, we control our own future, and we’re unapologetically Canadian. As we approach Canada Day, let’s come together to celebrate all we love about this place we call home.

Every kid should feel safe & know they belong. Bullying is harmful & can have devastating consequences. We wear pink today to show we care. We stand up to bullying of 2SLGBTQIA+ kids & all bullying. Everyday we work to build a BC where all can feel safe & grow without fear.

As we strengthen & diversify BC’s economy in response to this unjustified threat, we'll keep making progress on what matters most to people here: -Growing our economy & creating jobs -Strengthening healthcare -Helping with costs & affordable homes -Building safe and strong communities

To protect BC jobs, businesses and economic prosperity from global threats, we need to keep working to make sure BC isn’t in this position ever again. It’s full steam ahead on strengthening our economy through major projects to deliver wealth and high-paying jobs to communities.

The BC government releases the list of 10 projects (18 if you count individual wind projects) worth $20b and 8,000 jobs it plans to fast-track to completion to benefit BC economy during threat of Trump tariffs. Most located in north.

BC’s Premier David Eby, “adopted an economic eye-for-an-eye approach, & nothing was off the table—not export bans, not travel boycotts and certainly not retaliatory import tariffs, right down to Florida orange juice.” Fascinating profile of Premier Eby by Maclean’s Magazine.

For B.C. Premier David Eby, Donald Trump’s tariff threats mean economic war. macleans.ca/society/how-...

The task force, made up of business, industry, labour, and Indigenous leaders, will advise the Premier on emerging issues, and work towards solutions to navigate these challenges and help the families that these tariffs will hurt.

In response to the threat, Premier Eby is taking decisive action, calling the situation "economic warfare." He and his team are working to protect British Columbians through a three-part strategy: respond, strengthen, and diversify.

Serious times call for serious leadership and a government that stands up for people, and Premier @Dave_Eby and his team are addressing the very real and big threats facing British Columbians. Eby's mandate letters, marching orders to Ministers, reflect this priority. news.gov.bc.ca/releases/202...

Priority number one is growing the economy and creating high-paying jobs to generate the wealth needed to support people through strong public services like healthcare and education. All of this is underlined by the need to protect BC from global threats.

Meghan is a true gem, as a friend and a colleague. I’m lucky to work alongside her.

Tomorrow, Premiers will meet to plan our response to Trump’s tariffs including a trade mission to Washington, DC because tariffs will hurt Americans and Canadians alike. With our strategic response, Canada’s Premiers will stand up for Canadian workers and businesses. (1/2)

Taking a digital break from most of the ‘socials’ for the rest of the year. May you end 2024 feeling peace, not pain. May you look back with gratitude, not regret. May you accept the past and stay confident in the present. May you be ready to step boldly into what's ahead. 💪🏼 Happy holidays, all.

Christmas is a time for cherished traditions for families around the world, including mine. It’s a time for celebration, togetherness and charity. This year is extra special for my family as we hang up a fifth stocking by the fire for baby Gwen’s first Christmas. Merry Christmas!

I’m in Toronto with Premiers from across the country, standing up against Trump’s tariff threats. I’m bringing forward the priorities of people in BC. Trump’s tariffs threats put BC businesses and workers at risk. We must respond with strength.

As we gather today to say goodbye to John, I’m reflecting on how much love John had for this province and its people. Today, we aren’t just saying farewell to a leader but to a friend. His wife, Ellie, and sons, Evan and Nate, remain in our thoughts and prayers.

British Columbia has lost an incredible advocate and a fighter for justice in the passing of Dan Coulter. We will keep Dan and his family in our hearts and remember him in the work that we do.
