Anyone else noticing WaPo magically acted a little better the last week? Almost as if Jeff Bezos is afraid of being targeted by the new Congress next year? Don’t buy it people. Jeff needs to answer for the deaths of too many Amazon workers.

Listen I’m all for giving Mamdani a hard time for his disturbing support of a billionaire commissioner and silence on police violence, but playing basketball at a city facility is not something I care about. He’s a famous mayor facing security threats, it makes sense he uses a secure facility.

I’ve said if you nominate bad Democrats, you put your left flank at risk and I could see the GOP funding a left wing sounding PAC attacking them. Well, looks like the GOP is actually doing it, though I didn’t expect it against David Crowley. I expected it against someone like Jared Moskowitz.

My generation had mass unemployment and we (stupidly) blamed ourselves. Today mass unemployment of the young seems to be coming back but instead of blaming themselves they are taking to the streets. I think if nothing is fixed, it’s only a matter of time before the Paris riots come to our shores.

Just a reminder, the things Florida’s Democratic establishment are saying about Angie Nixon I’ve heard before — when they would bemoan Andrew Gillum’s primary victory.

The Democratic establishment is trying to sow a post election narrative that Nixon — regardless of if she wins or outperforms Jolly — turned voters off. This is absurd and shows a lack of understanding on how voter turnout works. It also might be a racist dog whistle.

Mamdani has done so many important things, but he has capitulated far too much to this billionaire police commissioner. It’s ok to call out Mamdani for this disturbing behavior. I know we all still like him, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore this stuff. Hold elected officials accountable!
