Nice, features the "numa numa" song. BTW, that popular song is in Romanian and its lyrics say "you want to leave, you won’t take me with you."

Google is locking down #Android in the name of safety, despite the fact that mallware is mostly distributed through their own Play Store. Google decides what you run on your devices. It won't block mallware, but it will block FOSS or their competition. keepandroidopen.org/

This is huge. With AOT, AHS, and the runtime changes coming in 28, it’s going to be a stellar release. Most people don’t realize how amazing the JVM is, and it just keeps getting better - github.com/openjdk/jdk/... #java #jvm
Happy to announce that JEP 546: “Adaptive Heap Sizing for ZGC” and JEP 545: “Faster Startup and Warmup with ZGC” have both been targeted for JDK 28.
Agent harnesses (e.g. #OpenCode) show us how many apps will look like in the future: plugin-based, you ask for features you want, and it auto-refreshes w/ new feature. JS/JVM runtimes are great for this, compilers producing "native binaries", less so 😉 github.com/alexandru/...

Just FYI, Mistral has a generous $15/month consumer-level subscription that gives access to 255 EUR/month worth of inference; which you can spend on GLM-5.3, or the new Mistral Large 4. mistral.ai/
I have a Macbook Pro 2019 with the Intel chipset. It suffers from planned obsolescence due to Apple, and the OSS ecosystem is already deprecating support. I finally installed Ubuntu 26.04 on it. Wow, #Linux has come a long way! t2linux.org/
"How to keep enjoying programming in a world of LLMs" This is good advice, for many reasons, only one of which being "to keep enjoying programming". "Make the agents group around your way to work, not the other way around." 💯 discourse.haskell.org...
