Sometimes I get into a particularly sicko mood and I look up known disaster people (This time taxxon) and without fail you just stumble upon these micro communities populated mostly with what can be described as lint scrapped from the bottom of a sewage pipe. We need to bully more.

Watching the new season of Shark Tank and they managed to immediately become a parody of itself by having one of the pitches be Ball 2, the sequel to Ball, powered by AI. To really seal the deal, the ball 2's battery is not rechargeable or designed to be replaced.

Again: “AIs aren’t conscious” is a strong, affirmative claim. It implies a lot of specific things about consciousness. It requires strong evidence. “We can’t say for sure if AI is conscious” is a weaker, cautious claim. It doesn’t make any particular evidence about consciousness.

19 years ago today for my birthday my friends took me to a strip club a couple towns over that was in a double wide trailer and I got a private dance from a dancer who, unbeknownst to me at the time, was xanned up and she fell asleep on me mid dance. Hope she's doing well
