Welp...that'll get a few more people to the polls who were planning on sitting it out. I'd like to see a study - at what theshold does the price of fuel override disdain of "trans athletes" and "illegals" to cause someone to vote against their inner bigotry.
watching Great Lakes refined products market this morning like 🫣🫣 we could tie or exceed spring prices in states that haven’t paused taxes.
Same. Every day I still practice the instrument 🥁 I've played for 40 years, always working on something I'm not great at. And love playing guitar, bass, and keys as often as I can. But there is no greater joy for me than getting in a room with people and writing.
Wow. I am a good drummer and percussionist, but a shitty pianist and keyboard player. I love working on keys because I'm bad and it's hard, and it's so great to work hard on getting better at something I'm bad at, where I don't have to worry about impressing anyone else and I'm just doing it for me.
I gotta mention an upcoming show. A former member of our band is facing a significant health challenge and we are raising money for him and his young family. We also have a silent auction to bid for your choice of whatever song you want us to play. All deets and more: salmoninthecurrent.com
I know some folks that are Fox "news" only watchers who are staunchly pro-Ukraine that will never see this story because Fox isn't reporting on it.
Just so you understand the scale of betrayal: first, our "partners" didn't warn Ukraine about the incoming ballistic missiles, so the air raid alert wasn't activated before impact, robbing people of their chance to survive. Then, Starlink was restricted to stop working at speeds above 100 mph.

The next congress needs to fund the fuck out of the NOAA. Every person in this country depends on weather data and research in some way whether they know it or not. It is one of the most important government services we have.
I don't think privatization is the answer. Weather data such as this needs to be publicly available and free. The answer is this administration shouldn't have gutted NOAA's budget with the horrible DOGE cuts.

Reminder that Jim Cantore works for a private “weather” television network that would benefit massively from privatizing our network of weather radars.

I keep running across reposts of their performance. I might be a little jealous I'm not playing this one 😆, but it's awesome to see my dude do some REALLY cool shit lately. Stuff we used to dream of in our younger days, rockin' together. 🚀
This is something. #Repost @theohanafest ・・・ Eddie + Stephen Wilson Jr. = perfection
They're REALLY showing their ass in this hearing, and I'm enjoying every second of it.
OMG: Republican Senator Schmitt accused Jack Smith of being in ATL to conspire with Fani Willis b/c he got a text from JP Cooney about a “Hawks” game (Falcons?). Schmitt had a big visual aid but didn’t keep it up long. BUT smith was at an IOWA HAWKEYES game to see Caitlin Clark in Maryland HAHAHA
My good friend and former bandmate is just living beyond his own dreams these days. Singing "Hunger Strike" with Ed has the be the ultimate bucket in the bucket list. Well done dude! youtu.be/zf_vOtM662Y?...
Excited to test this AI thingy out while flying into DCA this week. What could go wrong??? 🤷♂️
The Federal Aviation Administration launched an ambitious $875-million-dollar push to make the U.S. airspace more efficient. But critics say it won't solve bigger problems with air traffic control. n.pr/4iLEe2d

Declare a war in the Western Hemisphere so he can cancel elections like Bibi??? I don't think people here are going to put up with that shit.
NEW: Trump and his aides are building a rationale for more military strikes across Latin America and the Caribbean. They're getting 14 countries to designate crime groups "terrorist" organizations. That's expected to happen this week, during UNGA in NY. Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2026/09/22/w...

The rationale @brooklynspoke.bsky.social gives for wearing a helmet in the cold open (so his obituary in the paper when he gets run over doesn't chide him for failing to do so) seems like a joke, but it's literally going through my mind every time I put one on.
NEW! "Fine, We're Doing a Helmet Episode." After Mayor Mamdani posted a video showing him wearing a bike helmet, social media exploded. But what are helmets designed to do? Who sets the standards? And what is it about the mere mention of them that causes people to lose their minds? bit.ly/4gFMJub
