And I've only had a chance to scratch the surface of it, but Echo Weaver really feels like a special metroidvania. Outer Wilds-esque time loop puzzles mixed with knowledge-based movement tech and routing.

There really are just too many good metroidy things. Echo Weaver came out today and I've only had the chance to scratch the surface of it. A time-loop puzzle adventure where things are mostly gated through knowledge, rather than finding the right item. Outer Wilds, but 2D and with combat.
