Splatoon Raiders

Mina the Hollower really surprised me so that

Resident Evil 9

Nothing springs to mind as GoTY for me but some releases this year I’d recommend: Far Far West (Cowboy Skeleton FPS Helldivers 2) Voidling Bound (3rd person action shooter where you play as Pokemon, basically) Mina the Hollower (Fester’s Quest like, lol) Mixtape Don’t Stop Girlypop Big Hops

Pragmata! Resident Evil Requiem is a close 2nd.

Rhythm Heaven Groove!

Out of everything I've played, honestly probably Titanium Court

Gonna be zero company and I don’t say that lightly that game was made for me

Saros!

Mina the Hollower

Does it have to be a game that came out this year? If not: Xeboblade Chronicles If yes: Slay the Spire 2

Fields of Mistria!

Pragmata

Esoteric Ebb

When it comes to singleplayer games, Donkey Kong Bananza.

Currently? Luna Abyss

Tokon or Denshattack

I'd prolly have to say 007 First Light, I had a good lotta fun with the story, I really do hope there's another IO Bond Game, I would LOVE to see how they go at a (now) established GibsonBond.

resident evil 9

Saros, maybe. I really enjoyed Minishoot adventures and Denshattack too tho.

Motorslice!

It's Nioh 3.

Slay the Spire 2

Titanium Court for sure!

Mewgenics

Big Walk

Wetrix

Pokopia

Its only a demo right now, but Neverway is so good dude

Currently a toss up between TR-49 and Desktop Explorer

Esoteric Ebb

Slayblade or Saros atm

Spire 2. And there’s a marianas trench sized gulf between that and #2

Tokon or Mewgenics. Although I kinda got tired of the latter

Denshattack!

The Mermaid Mask. I was really impressed by that game

Titanium Court!

Monster Hunter Stories 3

Denshattack

Fields of Mistria. Even though i haven't even played 1.0 yet.

Super Battle Golf

Overwatch (2026)

Rhythm Heaven Groove!

Big walk and it's not particularly close

Crimson Desert. I know it won't win goty but its a real blast to play and I hope the game wins an award

Cairn

Slay the Spire 2

Big Walk obviously!

quake brutalist jam 3

Once I finally get people to help me finish Big Walk, maybe that. Until then it's probably Endacopia.

Resident Evil Requiem

007 First Light or The Mermaid Mask

Big Walk

Pragmata!

007

Resi is pretty up there this year

F-Zero GX

Iron Nest

Pokopia

endacopia!! but damn so many bangers this year omg

There are others I would probably put above it but because it’s not getting enough attention I’ve gotta shout out The Mermaid Mask: youtu.be/oNm7ZoxP22s?...

Pragmata

MIO: Memories in Orbit (I have played 2 games from 2026.)

Been obsessed with The Outlast Trials and Mistfall Hunter. But since only one came out this year, Mistfall Hunter! Even tho I keep saying Mistfall Hunters! Such a fantastic extraction game.

Forza Horizon 6

Horizon 6. Not a ton for me this year, I couldn't tell you what 2 is.

100% Denshattack and id be very surprised if anything manages to dethrone it. One of the most fun games ive ever played.

Marathon

Resident Evil Requiem

Pokopia for now, but I am confident I have yet to play/complete my end-of-year GOTY.

007

Fields of Mistria

Big Walk
