Americans can't stand the thought of being losers. Yet here we are: cheated, used like tools, sold poisoned food and water, every day, by our own President, like the losers he thinks we are. It doesn't have to be this way.

Every time I see one of these stories, other than the seething hatred of fascists who then come crying to decent people when THEIR families get swept up in the ethnic cleansing campaign, I wonder if the wife wanted a divorce so the husband dobbed her in.

Amazon and irony go hand in hand. They do still sell books, and the Kindle, and at one point due to a licensing issue decided to not just revoke a book, but reach inside Kindles and delete it remotely. The book was 1984.

Pulled quote: **That’s a problem not just for foragers like me, but for anyone who has ever eaten a chanterelle, morel, or porcini mushroom, none of which can be farmed.** Stores and restaurants purchase them from... foragers who collect them in wild places, including the Lassen National Forest.

Scientists are wary of glyphosate. MAHA loathes it. And our yearlong investigation shows California is spraying it everywhere.

These agents have quotas to fill, and immunity to fill them.

A US-born woman born was confronted by sheriff deputies in Louisiana who were convinced her ID and social security card were fakes. They turned her over to ICE, who shackled her & took her an hour away. Even after a lawyer convinced ICE of the woman's citizenship the sheriff says they did no wrong

NEW: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has taken steps to block or delay promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military, according to nine U.S. officials familiar with the process.

This might be a good reason to call your senators and congressperson. #selfinterest

A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today. It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files. Just wow.

One of the things that radicalized me to abolition was learning that basic human care, community, and solidarity are seen as threats and risks in prisons. That’s WHY they can’t be reformed: the things that would help people are antithetical to the institution itself. No more prisons.

News: Gang of Eight in Congress were only notified about Trump's Venezuela operation after it began, source familiar tells me. That means the heads of the Intelligence Committees in Senate and House were *not* consulted. Just crazy.

So when * said that the attack on Venezuela was supposed to happen 4 days ago -- that would have coincided with the Jan31 testimony by Jack Smith to the Senate that is very damning and embarrassing to *. "the basis for [Jan6] charges rests entirely with President Trump and his actions."
