I finally have gotten the experience of learning about some massively popular show and its famous personality who runs it from their dissolution with H3H3 and Ethan whatever his name is. Usually I've at least heard the name before in some context, even if I knew nothing more than that. Not here.

Which is just part of how fragmented the media landscape is now. But it is interesting to finally be in the position of being baffled to learn how popular and successful some show and its host are who never existed for me until I learned the news of their downfall.

"How did you get into tabletop role-playing games?" Went over to a friend's house after school and they were playing West End's Star Wars RPG. They let me hop in as a TIE pilot fighting the party partway through the session. I was dropped right in the middle of it and was hooked instantly.

"How did you get into tabletop role-playing games?" 1988. I was 19, at Uni, and knew about D&D tho' had never played. My then BF ran a one-shot for he and I, then introduced me to his gaming group. I statted a cleric, who later got reincarnated a minotaur, then an Irda for a DragonLance campaign.

Starting to seem like the idea of a next generation of Game Consoles is getting even further off the more we hear about prices, and that Nintendo was actually brilliant in making the Switch 2 just somewhat closer to other consoles specs instead of pushing the bar.

I have told industry friends about the restaurant burger analogy: imagine you go to a restaurant and order a burger and the waiter comes out and starts apologizing for producing the perfectly ok burger you ordered on the menu like they felt it was beneath them. It would feel insulting right?
