Do you love maps? Of course you do! With the latest release of #ggsql we now support spatial plotting directly from your database. As a cherry on top, the release also provides powerful in-layer aggregation. Read all about it on the blog
Hey @thomasp85.com @teunbrand.bsky.social, I created a chart builder built on top of #ggsql: plotr.org. Sort of the ggsql Esquisse version :) Would love to hear what you think! It's still very much experimental though.

@thomasp85.com @teunbrand.bsky.social @gws.phd I wrote a little post about why I ggsql makes so much sense to me. Impressive work, congratulations! carva.lu/posts/i-love...
Hey @thomasp85.com @hadley.nz why do we see black rectangles on heatmaps when we select only x and y? What was the motivation behind it? I was talking with colleagues and we all agreed this is such a nice feature to quickly know if there's an intersection even before selecting the 3rd variable

Hi @minecr.bsky.social @thomasp85.com! On the ggplot cheatsheet found in ggplot2.tidyverse.org you split geoms mainly by continuous and discrete. Where do the factors/categorical variables fit here? Discrete?
