#KnitSky another beginner question (sorry if I'm spamming too many of these lately!) - I find the very last stitch per row ends up very loose despite my best efforts to maintain tension, and pulling on the working yarn doesn't help (the looseness is in the other thread). How should I fix/avoid this?

Genuinely so hype for this, Inkle don't let me down 🙏🙏🙏

1/ last but not least, The Starless Sea by @erinmorgenstern.bsky.social is unquestionably my top read of the year! An absolute love letter to stories and myths, featuring such a cool nonlinear narrative wrapped up in consistently gorgeous prose. Made me want to reread it immediately, TBR be damned.
2/ Ghost Of by dianakhoinguyen.com - a hauntingly sad book of poetry that took me forever to get through despite the relatively low page count, because I'd read one or two poems tops and then need to put the book down and think about life for a few days. Major CWs for themes of suicide and grief.
5/ Of Monsters and Mainframes by @barbaratruelove.bsky.social - laugh out loud, high camp goofiness that mishmashes tons of classic horror tropes together in a sci-fi setting. Clearly holds a lot of love for both genres while poking fun at them constantly.
4/ Spinning Silver by @naominovik.bsky.social - a dark fairytale with pacing and prose that makes it feel like an old classic, featuring a ton of cool worldbuilding centered in Slavic mythology. Sort of a Rumplestilstskin retelling if you squint, but the original narrative goes far beyond that.
8/ Nettle & Bone by @tkingfisher.com - a modern dark fairytale that executes on that formula quite well, as a comfy easy read that hooked me in quickly and kept me engaged til the end. A fun one to binge!
10/ The Cautious Traveller's Guide to the Wastelands by @sarahbrooks.bsky.social - a low plot, high vibes read about a steampunk train traversing a land full of eerie, vaguely SCP-ish monsters. Some very cool unique worldbuilding in this one.

this poem got a lot of flak when it was written because people have no reading comprehension but i've been thinking about it a lot again (by @vinayrk.bsky.social unless i'm mistaken)

Most discussions about “misinformation” treat the problem as if people simply don’t have good enough critical-thinking skills. It sounds intuitive, but it’s not entirely accurate. The problem isn’t just individual ignorance, it’s the structure of the information environment people are placed into.
