Interesting how people who don't live with a disability insist on what's ableist. Many people live with invisible disabilities, but It seems like the same people complaining about those bandwagoning on causes have no problem standing on a soap box to dictate how people with disabilities should feel.

Between shit like this, calling women they politically oppose whores, ableism, and throwing trans people under the bus; it's clear that to the liberal, progressive policies are not based on genuine principles. These causes are merely chess pieces strategically used on behalf of their team.

Governments never graciously gave rights to queer people, women, people with disabilities, people of colour. People on the ground fought for that on the streets. When those in powers did relent, they did so conditionally. It's the people on the ground that get shit done.

This is not to say that there are liberal voters who aren't gay, or sex workers, or trans who care deeply about those issues. I'm saying that they are being used to fight for a status quo that never actually had their back in the first place.
