Tire based pollution is one thing that can be addressed immediately and personally be driving fewer miles. AFAIK, there are no other short term solutions.
Stream restoration is great, unless the stream then gets contaminated with dust from car tires. A new study finds Bay Area 6PPD-quinone levels exceeding EPA standards, harming trout and salmon. flip.it/y1eDOt

One thing I can't get over is that the cycle tracks hardly affect drivers at all: travel times and parking are only marginally different and they still get their pointless removal wish granted. They saved lives and doubled cycling and it just doesn't matter. www.toronto.ca/wp-content/u...

WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you really should watch and share this excellent news story. Ford LIES that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data. Remember and share this as Ford tears out Toronto bike-lanes.

And 1000x more people who were living here peacefully and often with legal status. Just blatant cruelty, violence, and horror.
Under Trump, more than 500 Americans have been grabbed off the street and sent to DHS concentration camps. Many have been filmed screaming that they are American citizens. DHS doesn't care; they just toss them into detainment until some family member or lawyer is able to prove their citizenship.

Amazing to me how many people who vote in person seem to think they have to wait until the Tuesday of election day In fact, in person voting is available in Berkeley at some sites for 4 days and other sites for 11 days.
Election Day is Nov. 3. Here's information on registration, mail-invoting, what's on the ballot, voters’ rights and more.
