I tried this on my Steamdeck as well. Plays great. From a first glance, Switch 2 and Steamdeck performance are neck and neck. Switch 2 is a little more optimized and has a bigger screen. it's so NICE to have seamless cross progression.

The Information: 'Xbox is planning to lay off hundreds of employees this week in its second major staff reduction this year, according to someone briefed on the plans. The Microsoft-owned firm also plans to consolidate several of its game studios, this person said.'

Unacceptable

Sean Capri@seancapri.bsky.social

I went to EB Games to pick up my Fire Emblem pre order and they told me it wasn’t in. No apology. No timeline on when it would be in. They treated me like *I* was the asshole for expecting it. They said “you didn’t order the deluxe edition so yours isn’t here” I hate EB Games so, so much.

So hyped for both Fire Emblem and Trails 2nd chapter. Im 40 hours into Trails the 1st Chapter. I maybe able to finish it in a month or so? Then I'll dive into 2nd chapter. Fire Emblem comes in a few weeks later for me unfortunately, but that's ok. I gotta play catchup with the back log.

Matt is so great at this and deserves a look. Appreciate the genuine opinion on this one. Wolverine was Top 3 most anticipated games of 2026 for me, alongside Saros and Forza Horizon 6.

Matt Sowinski@mattsilversoul.bsky.social

I really wanted to love Marvel's Wolverine, but dated and stale gameplay, a roller coaster of a story, and bland upgrades weigh the experience down. There are great moments here, but it's way too safe. butwhytho.net/2026/09/marv...

butwhytho.netMarvel's Wolverine Review: Who Knew Something So Bloody Could Play It So SafeMarvel's Wolverine has some good in it, but ultimately, feels too safe with repetitive combat, unanswered narrative questions, and uneven pacing.

What a massive deal breaker and disappointment playing FF Resonance demo on steam deck. It seems like the hour count continues even when on sleep mode. Is this the same for Switch 2? Maybe I'll just get it over there. No I haven't been playing the game for 12 hours.

Players will have to take care of GTA 6's two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, as eating will affect their weight, working out will visibly change their build and strength, and a lack of sleep will negatively impact their features. https://bit.ly/4d3mI5z

I refuse to believe anyone actually enjoys Shin Megami Tensei. "What if we took all the fun parts out of Persona and just made grinding for hours after every boss the gameplay loop?" Pass. (Yes I know SMT came first)

Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

Why? Why must everything we enjoy be sealed up with a "grade"? I get baseball cards being put in plastic because you can still enjoy both sides of the card. But a Blu-ray?

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave looks AMAZING. Ambitious and a good mix between Three Houses and Engage. Between this, Wolverine, Trails, and Control, September is going to be absolutely sleepless. At least it'll train me for baby #2.
