Is there not a clear axis from the dog-whistling of the Reagan era to the evil you condemn here? The UN 'monkeys'? HW's Willie Horton? W? Nixon's southern strategy and the criminality of his administration could have led to redress. Instead, we got Newt, Turd-Blossom and Bannon. And here we are.

The Norm MacDonald bio doc on Netflix isn't that well done, but I suspect Judd Apatow (producer) was limited by the available material and the ferocity with which MacDonald guarded his private life. But grainy content and fuzzy audio aside, I was riveted. It's like the Andy Kaufman mystery reborn.

Corporate profits are at record highs — but revenue from corporate taxes has plummeted thanks to the tax cuts in Trump and Republicans’ big, ugly bill. Meanwhile, workers’ wages are stagnant and their share of the nation’s income is at a record low. Trickle-down economics was always a hoax.

I’m sure this won’t incentivize the absolute worst people in the world to harass their neighbors by calling the fucking gestapo

Which organizations are monitoring polling places for election intimidation? I know the DOJ is sending monitors out around the country, but let's be honest, this is Trump's DOJ. I also know of ACLU and Common Cause efforts, but this is a complicated matter and laws vary from state to state.
