One of the greatest athletes in the history of planet Earth. A short king who would dunk upside your head.

The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes.

9:30 AM PST is like, active hatred for the sport. The incoming commissioner needs to gather everyone all together. Make the W the feature sport on Tues, Wed, Fridays. If a games on Sun/Mon are unavoidable, they have to lead into MNF/TNF, not compete.

Push back the season if necessary and use the 4th as a showcase game day. Yes, that's baseball territory, but it's better than competing with football on literally any Saturday or Sunday. The FIBA situation is a different animal.

Name a fictional character death you haven't gotten over. Sad I couldn't save her. Watching her burn to ash was sadder than has she died in battle.

IDK who those articles are even for because they've been writing them for a decade and those people still say at the end of each one that they would vote the same way if they could do it all over again so what is even the point, lol?

Agreed. This is why fraction 2025, I said I would be limiting how much rage bait I share. I share only if it is mission-critical, which is rare, since THEY are too afraid to actually do anything. Those weekend parades don't count.

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

The systematic study of God (Gods), the divine natures, and religious beliefs, derived from the Greek words theos (God) and logos (word or reason). Atheists, agnostics & all faiths are welcome here.

Incredible productivity from one player. Hot take: Kaelon Black appears to be a better runner between the tackles. That won't account for everything we lose in McCaffrey, but it's something.

Matt Maiocco@mattmaiocco.bsky.social

Christian McCaffrey had four carries for 29 yards and a TD and two receptions for 40 yards on the opening drive. The 49ers take a 7-0 lead on the Falcons.

This is a good one. I believe it's federal law that local channels must air in HD now. Imagine explaining to yourself 30 years ago what high definition is, let alone that you can get it through your antenna

TV quality (and I mean like video quality not content)

My dad bought an NES at launch in 1985, so I'm going to go with video games since I was raised in the dawn of the digital age. Play though NES Legend of Zelda then play Breath of the Wild, which is OG LoZ reimagined. Or OG Metroid then Metroid Prime.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

Wake Up doesn't talk about the W, either, because none of them except Monica McNutt actually watches the W. The last time ESPN allowed a Black woman to dominate the airwaves with strong opinions was Jemele Hill, and we know how that story ends. blerdbeats.com/2026/03/27/g...

blerdbeats.comGet Lit!—UphillAs a fan of sports and Jemele Hill, I was curious about her tell-all reason for departing ESPN. While Uphill is a memoir, I was not prepared for the nostalgia that it would invigorate.

I'm actually relieved First Take is acting like bitches and not covering the WNBA finals. That means two people in my group chat have not had any new stupid takes about Angel Reese. As smart at n*ggas think they are. They were repeating verbatim the stupid takes about Caitlin being the golden goose.

Being a cellist in orchestras and symphonies most my life, I got used to loving opera. I can listen to them all day.

Yo I heard about the "vibe coded" version of Tekken 6 on PC and I'm completely fine with an instance like that. Companies sitting on IPs not using them despite demand? EMU gonna get U!

This story is so crazy it's the first thing my wife talk to me about after cuffing and showers. Unbelievable! Republicans are demons. Lowercase antichrists.

Da Real Juicy J (10/13 🥳)@realjuicyjay.blacksky.app

We don’t talk enough about how dangerous and damaging pick-me women can be to their female children That’s are too many stories of girls being victimized by their mother’s partners and having the mother claim they are lying, blame the child or permit it to happen so that man won’t leave

Aiight, so the candidate running for governor has a democrat in Ohio was raised by her stepfather when she was a child here he went to jail. He's dead. Now the mother is in an ad campaign saying that her daughter lied about it. Her brother says the mother is a liar because he was also abused

I cannot imagine a family airing out decades of dysfunction like this. Especially when your daughter is running for governor and you're still mad at your kids because the man you chose was a POS. And shame on Republicans for rolling with it!

AOC pulled up in Michigan???

Abdul El-Sayed@abdulelsayed.bsky.social

There's no doubt that @aoc.bsky.social has changed the trajectory of American politics. Grateful to have her with us on the ground across Michigan to strengthen our movement to get money out of politics, put money in pockets, and pass Medicare for All.

Yeah, the PS5 controllers are notorious for poor batteries. I thought about doing I'll even play my PS5 like that. In fact, I would probably just plug it up to my laptop if necessary then do all this, but for those who do, this is useful.

Aerial_Knight@aerialknight.com

My PS5 controller couldn't hold a charge so I took it apart and replaced the battery. Only took about 10 minutes and the new battery was $10

It's difficult to find all these things OUTSIDE of marriage where one can freely embrace or discard partners at will. Marriage differs in that a couple is committed to each other while constantly in pursuit of these things while the couple changes over time, and may never actually achieve them all.

Da Real Juicy J (10/13 🥳)@realjuicyjay.blacksky.app

How man truly healthy, happy, & successful marriages have you personally seen? (If you are in one, that counts too) Healthy, happy, successful = reciprocal, caring, effective problem resolution, communication, kindness, affection, liking each other, deferential treatment toward each other, united

It's difficult to give straight yes/no answer to a question like this when marriage is longitudinal. If my wife gives me an essay for a honey-do list, I might say no. If I gave her the 🍖 five times this week, she might say yes. Regardless of the past 21 years we've been married.

I feel obliged to once again reiterate that lay offs and closures are not a reaction to the economy, but a failure of leadership. Each wave of closures and layoffs should be looked upon as a consequence of greed and incompetence. If you can't keep your people employed, you are bad at your job.

It's silly that there was even a discussion about moving them into a larger arena for the finals. It's like, am I dead or do rich people like money?

Min. Foolish Farrakhan@uhohjaye.bsky.social

Balhalla has an amazing environment, but if i was in Atlanta with a stadium full of my people yelling “ATL Hoe!” ….. That would feel godly.

If ATL wins this series, Chicago Sky giving up Angel may rank right under the Edmonton Oilers giving up Wayne Gretzky in terms of franchise fumbles. It's like, just sell the franchise if you don't want to compete

Contrary to the quotes, birthrates remain high in poorer countries. Prosperity creates opportunities for ppl to do things besides breed.
