The Old Powers of earth are not for men to use. They were never given into our hands, and in our hands they work only ruin. Ill means, ill end. I was not drawn here, but driven here, and the force that drove me works to my undoing.

Obama is still extraordinarily popular. I think he’ll help for sure. He knocked his rally in Ohio out of the park today. I didn’t see the one in Michigan, but I’m sure it was equally fantastic. I miss him so much. We really took decency for granted.

HBO Max is streaming a horror movie called Backrooms, and im sure it's scary or whatever, but all I can think seeing the promo is like it's some rooms! It's a lot of rooms! Eeekkk! There's so many rooms! What a concept! 😆

It turned out be the other way around. First it merged with performance art, then politics.

I don't really believe in hell but I'm hopeful there's a special place reserved there for women like this who put other women in danger with lies like that one.

WHAT -- Rep. Lisa McClain totally makes shit up, claims "82% of women who got the vaccine in their first or second trimester had a miscarriage"

A Senate candidate talking about the Powell memo???? Pinch me, am I dreaming????

Team Talarico@teamtalaricohq.bsky.social

James Talarico: 50 years ago, a corporate lawyer named Lewis Powell circulated a memo around DC — a blueprint for how corporations could amass political power, reverse the gains of the Great Society and the New Deal, and rig the system for themselves. And it worked.

He did this so well. It's an amazing game 10 years later even. I love observing how the developers set up the environment to direct your attention *elsewhere* while you wend your way through the game. There's always something else to notice.

Anyone who doesn’t see how very satisfied I’ve been throughout production doesn’t get what I most want out of an adaptatation. Mind you, that does tend to happen.

What should the messaging be for Democratic candidates to win back enough swing voters?

I had a friend years ago who, when someone got burned as bad as hegseth did, would walk up to them and ask: How did THAT feel?!

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

😳 Hegseth snaps at Peters: "Your characterization of this incredible effort as a failure if reckless and irresponsible and smear the sacrifice of the troops. Shame on you." Peters responds: "You, sir, are the failure!"
