This is Rebecca’s husband Chris. I’m heartbroken to have to say this, but my wife Rebecca passed away suddenly yesterday morning. Rebecca was a vibrant, passionate, funny, and caring person that lived and loved boldly and made everyone and everything around her shine.

She was a talented writer, poet, painter, and photographer. She put so much beauty, humor, and art into the world and world was better and brighter for it. Please keep her memory in your hearts & our family in your thoughts.

Did the Internet take a massive plunge towards Hell after the first time someone posted “actually, the animal is in distress” in response to a cute/funny puppy/cat pic or am I imagining it?

Rather than having all of the streaming services at once, we rotate. It saves a bunch of money especially bc I don’t have to recap or care so much about following along with the “conversation” about shows. So yep I’m just now sitting down and watching season four of only murders in the building.

I haven’t had Netflix in so long, I couldn’t even tell you what shows I used to watch on there. I’d say the only things that I pay extra for are individual new episodes of stuff like Rick and Morty or American dad.

The only thing I won’t give up is Peacock! Because it has all my Bravo bullshit, dateline, and some pretty good first run movies. Plus, ZERO commercials and it’s so cheap!

Once the last of us ended, so did my max subscription. We just canceled Paramount after watching mobland. We went from paying $90 to less than $40 a month on streaming apps. The only reason I even have Hulu right now is because I’m getting Disney+ for $2.99 for four months.

Hardest part about being an artist, part 240 700,698: Picking out what pieces to submit for a show.

That lady who wrote a book went a year without sex and realized it wasn’t a big deal and like being and loving yourself is the key to happiness? Girl. Please. They are out here just publishing anybody lmao

Went to check indeed to see if there were any local freelance/part-time photography jobs and they now require you to give them your phone number just to look through jobs. Go fuck yourself, indeed.

My poor neighbors tried to cook (normal) and the stupid smoke detector that we have no power to turn off manually (not normal) went off and set off the building’s smoke alarm (extremely not normal) so how is your Sunday going? 🔥 🚨 🤷‍♀️🫠

To be clear, there is NO FIRE. They are just trying to cook. Yes we’ve tried to talk to management about it and their response was “what do you want me to do about it!?”

I got rejected from a publication for some of my photography, which is fine/normal/to be expected. And then I pulled up some past issues (which I looked at before bc I always do before submitting) and wow, I’m being so judgy right now. Oh I AM NOT WORTHY OF YOUR PAGES? But this is? Huh. OK!!!
