I have actually hit physical and mental burnout. Doctor at the satellite hospital has stressed that I need to actually rest. So spending the night in obs and on some meds to help take the edge of things. Work is going to give me hell, but fuck it. Gonna redraw this Fornax cover idea.

This genuinely hit me in the feels. So many hours of my life has been invested into these games and stories and universes. You will be sorely missed. In an age where creativity and storytelling and visible care in large, mainstay media seems to be disappearing, this is just one more to lose.

And you can argue that their recent games haven't been the same quality or hit the same way (you know, ignoring EAs grubby little fingers tarnishing the development pipeline), but the fact remains that this means I'll never be able to get gay turians to hold my hand and make out with me.

Really though, it's bittersweet. And a part of me has a bit of suspicious skepticism around EA being bought by Saudi and Kushner and how they often dealt with queer stories and representation. We just can't have anything these days.
