Libraries make us a harder target for authoritarianism. Equal access to info, ideas, and space that doesn’t require a purchase to belong. Also: using the library means money stays in your community instead of streaming out to Amazon. 📚 What’s checked out on your card right now?

There’s a guy on TikTok who posts just him taking a pizza out of the oven every day with tongs and all of the comments are about how their day is ruined from having watched this

were up to me I probably wouldn't eliminate physical media for my forthcoming console right on the heels of delisting hundreds of digital movies from people's libraries and while on the cusp of a world historical digital storage supply squeeze, but I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks.

I cannot overstate how profoundly influential Space Ghost Coast to Coast was on my being. When I was a sullen teenager, it was Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and The X-Files that gave me a window into a weird world into which a weird kid like me would someday fit.

Hey, I know you're suffering because we waged a pointless, massively expensive, forever war that I promised would never happen if you elected us, and we did it without the slightest bit of preparation, which is compounding the pain, but hey, at least a bunch of foreigners are suffering more!

I've been running gdcparties.com for a few years now. Some shitty company BlueberryAI decided they'd just take all the source code for the work I've done and reskin it, advertising it as their own. Jokes on them...it was still linked to my events spreadsheet, and now their website looks like this 😉

I’m hoping we have a tight enough scene that if someone spots this stuff for sale we can catch these shitheads

KIRO 7 ran an article and two TV pieces on the theft of a box truck full of arcade PCBs, artwork, and machines from my workplace yesterday. If anyone in the Seattle area sees someone offloading a ton of CPS2/NAOMI/Neo Geo PCBs, stuff of that nature, please reach out. www.kiro7.com/news/local/g...
