For those who don’t follow sports and haven’t really had the opportunity to get to know Canada men’s national football team head coach Jesse Marsch, he is probably one of the few Americans who addressed the insulting “51st state” rhetoric head-on since day one. ❤️🍁🇨🇦TEAM CANADA FOREVER🇨🇦🍁❤️ 1/3 🧵

Today is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops. I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III. Remind you of anyone?

Because of concerns about the safety of using US Tech, France is getting rid of Windows from its Government computers. It's time, get all US Big Tech, Microsoft, Google, Palantir... out of Europe. It is a security threat.

True. I see evidence of financial crimes all the time and nothing happens other than a civil suit at the most. What's weird is that banks get defrauded all the time and they do nothing. They probably fear the publicity would make them look incompetent.

I wish it were true that "no one is above the law". But while the City of London acts as laundromat for the world's dirty money, as almost all fraud and waste crime go unprosecuted, as no one has gone to jail for the financial crash or the poisoning of our rivers, this is manifestly untrue.

REID: "The President of the United States is a colicky baby. And now Mark Carney and the whole country has to face that constant decision: Do we pick him up and walk him around and make soothing sounds? Or do we let him lay in his crib and cry it out?"

No doubt Massie has good reason to post this.

This is concerning, that a rep feels they must post this. A lot in our coalition has felt the same way and worried about it, but didn’t think we’d be here publicly.

Local activists have also worked successfully to pressure corporations that have contracts with US to drop them. truthout.org/articles/her...

Here is where we are at. If the US gets hit with another equivalent to 9/11, nobody is going to help them while the dictator is in office. The old world order is over.

Time for Canadians to run from Scotiabank. That dimwit is literally calling for the emaciation of his own bank, including all Canadian banks.

It's been a HELL of a week from the Trump Regime & right wing extremists. It's happening here in #Canada too with Bloomberg reporting that Scotiabank CEO Scott Thomson sees ‘Trump doctrine’ as positive for growth, as he shared at Canadian Bank CEO Conference. Time to boycott Scotiabank. #ElbowsUp

I see Chevron, Exxon and other Oils popped on Friday, just before the invasion. Turns out, Trump admitted he discussed the plans with them in advance. Some people got massively rich on Friday, which could be the whole point of this invasion. Oil will never get developed in any significant volume.

Since the US Supreme Court rules that a President can't be held legally accountable for crimes, prosecuting Madero in the US will blow up on Trump, like most things.

With the massive energy requirements/waste for data centers, ideas like these are going to be essential.

Finland is a leader in capturing waste heat from data centers using existing pipe systems and feeding it into city-wide district heating networks, effectively turning server heat into a sustainable energy source for homes, schools, and businesses, significantly cutting emissions and costs.

Journalism doesn't exist to be "fair." It exists to be accurate. Factual. Truthful. No matter how messy or "unfair" that appears to be.

I'm so glad our welfare system is just cash transfers so I don't have to see our version of people arguing about what kind of ketchups the poors should be allowed to buy or whatever the Americans are arguing about
