All of which continued into our Community Music Survey, shared throughout our village & the neighbouring one that falls in the school’s catchment. We wanted to know how our community feels and thinks about music, the role music plays in our lives, and how this place might be expressed musically.

As with many aspects of the #AnmoreSongs Project to follow, this proved powerful & engaging beyond our expectations. Students’ appreciation for the Beatles, CCR, Wide Open Spaces & singing together proved an inspiring touchstone for school & local households alike. m.soundcloud.com/anmoresd43/w...

This is the best video I’ve seen yet of last night’s #meteor ☄️ clearly showing a moving and growing fireball with two bright flashes. How cool to have heard🦻 such an event! Does anyone know where this was taken? Interested to find the original location and which direction the camera was facing.

Partway through telling my (5yo) kid about tapes and CDs, and realizing he had no frame of reference for “rewinding,” or any of it, I said, “This all makes me feel like I grew up in the olden days,” and without missing a beat he just chuckled and said, “Well, you did!”

You definitely want to learn to stop saying, "I am SO OLD!" long before the people to whom you're saying it just look at you in response with expressions that say, "I mean...yes."

There are parents who lost a battle over whether their kids could wear shorts to school in this temp.

Canadians you are not prepared for the temperature he tells you he is experiencing here.

I'm finishing off a project and I need your help for part of it. If you do Indigenous Land Acknowledgements at your meetings, classes, or events - why do you do them? If you don't do them, or if they bother you in some way - why? Can you please share this and also let me know your views either way?
