I don't care for how this has become almost a joke people throw in along with how he's old and fat and orange rather than a stomach-churning, existentially horrifying thing for a nation to know about its head of state.

I get they're inextricably intertwined but I kind of feel like leaning so much into how he was the longtime best buddy of the world's most notorious sex criminal has given it something of the feel of a political gotcha rather than the important part, which is that the president raped people.

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

It’s just so appalling and enraging how casual and commonplace this has become. I’m out of words.

i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

Will anyone—anyone at all—ask Trump about the rape allegations published in an official report by the House Judiciary Democrats? Or will he continue to escape accountability for his violence?

Trump just listed renaming a gulf and a lake as accomplishments of his presidency, then laid out plans to rename an ocean. Families can’t afford groceries, and this is where his focus is.

You didn’t even mention how Trump’s ICE terrorized and deported their entire workforce. Farmers, is it good for your business when a president drives away your customers, raises your input costs by 200%, destroys your international markets, and deports your workers?

Even before it was illegally demolished, USAID spent basically NOTHING in Latin America. He is just talking completely out of his ass as usual. This was the distribution of foreign aid in 2023. Notice that Latin America and the Caribbean combined is down there at 0.1%

Back in the day, working for small business owner conservatives, I learned they had a “catastrophic only” type plan that existed back in the teens. Their monthly premium was several hundred dollars, benefits maxed (from what she said) at way under $1m. Naturally, they thought the ACA was bad.
