So going to do this preemptively just because shit's been crazy for the last few months (cat dying, tablet going kaput etc) so I'd appreciate some support as I catch up on my comm queue. This helps with comm speed as well as getting a new YCH out! ko-fi.com/rosieriot/goal #mutualaid #helpsky

And here was me thinking that the reason people went to streaming sites was to see streamers. If we wanted cloud gaming we'd go check out OnLive... oh wait... Anyway, did you know our featured streamers spot on the front page is random? We give everyone a spot, not just the biggest communities.

Twitch is experimenting with using its front page as an Amazon Luna promotional vehicle, pushing creator discovery down a shelf.

Hey so this is even better now. It reads github metadata as well as file structure, searching for big glaring genAI fingerprints. It also fights much, much harder against github's page re-renders, so the status badge PERSISTS against pretty much EVERYTHING. This took awhile, please enjoy. Free.

Maybe this is more sharable, but here's AgenticAlert. Alerts you if the repo/project uses genAI. Great if you: * Are tired of everyone hyping slop projects * Are tired of genAI in your #recomp / #decomp scene * Are #noAI * Use a browser Protect yourself against AI slop garbage today.

What the UK to trans people is now explicitly genocide. To deny it anymore is genocide denial. A trans woman died as she was unable to get chemotherapy from the NHS simply as she was trans. Now there is a legal case into her murder, which you can donate to here.

translegalclinic.comJustice For Joelle | Trans Legal ClinicNHS England has updated its guidance on single-sex service provision to state that trans patients should be assigned to wards based on their 'biological sex.'

The Sternberg was the closest museum to me as a kid. My grandfather would drive hours to take me there. A lot of amazing memories are from this neat little museum. SAVE THE MUSEUMS!! SAVE EDUCATION!! SAVE SCIENCE!!

#FossilFriday blog post about #SaveTheSternberg. I have some thoughts based on what I have read over the last few days and it is not a good look by #FHSU admin. It really looks like closing was always the plan. But they did not count on us.

and when I see people repeating the delusion that art (ESPECIALLY furry art) isn’t inherently entangled in politics, THIS IS PART OF THAT. if youre just here to get your rocks off then TOUGH SHIT “politics“ is going to happen TO YOU if you don’t lock in and realize how serious this shit is!!!!!

Roleplaying incest scenarios in porn will be criminalized in the UK as of next month, 2 years in prison for possession and 5 years for publishing I don’t know what to say that I haven’t said, this is bleak as fuck Any UK ABDL furries should also be extremely weary as this law targets you too

Jaskier's health has been bouncing up and down, so there hasn't been much time for streaming. I really need help financially, so if y'all could just spread it around, I am taking Ko-fi donations to try and help Jaskier with his vet bill ko-fi.com/kujabane
